The Dangers of Self-Diagnosis
People label themselves; PTSD, Depressed, Anxious, Gender Dysphoria.
When we self-diagnose we cannot be objective.
We sometimes end up self-prescribing the treatments: alcohol, drugs, psilocybin, surgery, suicide.
There is a danger in this. In this episode Dr Tim Murphy discusses the problems with self diagnosis, and offers suggestions and help.

What happens to others when we are driven?
Often we are shackled by tremendous self-criticism and self-doubt.
There are several reasons why perfectionists keep behaving as they do.
So, how do we change it? If you want to change it in yourself, you can work on it.First, identify how it shows up in your life. Look at how it interferes in relationships.Look at how it can make you unhappy. You can progress from there.

It's In Your Words
Our words have incredible power
What we say is an expression of what we think
What we say can literally bring peace or war
Examples: 1990 Saddam Hussein troops at Kuwait border
or World War 2 Prime Minister Churchill's Speech
"A gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger" Prov 15:1

My Worst Enemy
We all experience times of failure, small and large. And many times there are legitimate reasons beyond our control that lead to us not getting what we want. It could be we just don’t know how to handle a situation, and that’s where you reach out, get training and get back to it.
But there are other times the fault lies in ourselves. If this is a pattern, we need to ask yourself “Am I my own worst enemy? Am I sabotaging my own successes?”
Self-sabotage is when our actions or inactions, what we do or what we fail to do, leads to a pattern of problems. Self-sabotage may affect our relationships, our professional life, and personally in our own mental health.

Sometimes you need to shake free of your past
Your profession does not define you.
