Liberty Versus Power
Nowhere is it prophesied that America will last forever. All that seems to matter to the far Left today is the abuse of liberty to gain power. Dr. Jerry Newcombe discusses the implications as America’s future hangs in the balance.
Why should we care about Israel?
The Nazi Holocaust destroyed six million Jewish lives. The so-called "BDS movement," (boycott, divest, and sanction Israel) has found widespread support on the Left, both in America and internationally. What should the Christian's stance be on the welfare of Israel? Pastor Rob Pacienza shares more in his "Truths That Transform" commentary.
What Does Archaeology Prove?
As modern Israel marks its 75th birthday, we’ll share portions of a recent visit to the Holy Land by Pastor Rob Pacienza. Christianity is based on real, historical events, from the creation of Adam and Eve to the parting of the Red Sea to the bodily resurrection of Jesus Christ. Skeptics who want to push Christianity to the margins have often denied these events.
But on this program, we'll share how a growing number of discoveries have demonstrated the truth of the Biblical account of history. And you'll see how this evidence can bolster your faith.
America and the Jews
"Nowhere in the last 2,000 years have Jews lived in anywhere approaching the tranquility and the prosperity that they have enjoyed for the last 250 years in the United States of America." - Rabbi Daniel Lapin, founder and head of the American Alliance of Jews and Christians
Today's Threats to the U.S. Military's History of Sacrifice
Memorial Day is perhaps our most solemn holiday because we stop to remember those who gave everything they had to protect our nation and preserve our freedom. As Jesus said, “Greater love has no one than this, that someone lay down his life for his friends.” We are humbled and grateful for these sacrifices, and the families that most closely bore the grief of their loss. Pastor Rob Pacienza discusses how we can find hope, peace, and freedom in the ultimate sacrifice that Jesus Christ made on our behalf in his "Truths That Transform" commentary.

SPECIAL: Intolerant: The War on Religious Liberty
Check out the newest special from D. James Kennedy Ministries, "Intolerant: The War on Religious Liberty." America only exists as we know it because of devout Christians who came here for religious freedom. And yet that freedom is now under attack as the forces of secularism work to silence Christianity and punish those who live out their faith. Nevertheless, there are also some emerging reasons for hope, and indications that we could be starting to recapture our First Amendment freedoms. We invite you to watch and hear from many who have first-hand stories of how their faith was silenced and the choices they made to stand firm in Biblical truth.

America for God
On this episode of Truths That Transform, you’ll get up close and personal with one of our nation's Founding Fathers, Thomas Jefferson. Though Jefferson was not an orthodox Christian, he was also the furthest thing from the raving secularist he’s often portrayed as. Neither Jefferson nor any other founder wanted to banish Christianity from the public square in America. In fact, quite the opposite. They believed that Christianity was essential to the freedom and flourishing of the new republic. Watch the full episode now to find out more.

Pride Month | Ep. 21
In June, the radical left celebrates the LGBTQ+ lifestyle with something known as ‘Pride Month.' Last week, President Joe Biden welcomed hundreds to the White House for a pride celebration. The LGBTQ+ agenda is out to destroy the Judeo-Christian worldview because that is the biggest impediment for the ultimate domination of its worldview. On this episode of The City of God Podcast, Rob and John discuss how pride month comes in direct conflict with a Biblical understanding of sex and gender, and how this movement isn’t about equal rights, but rather forcing everyone to bow the knee and submit to their ideology.

A Christian View of Patriotism | Ep. 25
Patriotism is under attack today. Standing for the Pledge of Allegiance and the National Anthem is considered problematic by some. Many radical progressives even consider the American flag to be a symbol of hate and saying something as simple as “America first” is being labeled as xenophobic. On this episode of The City of God Podcast, we dive into patriotism, and answer the question: can Christians be patriotic?

The Deconstruction of the Christian Faith with Alisa Childers | Ep. 67
The philosopher Jacques Derrida was the founder of “deconstruction,” a way of criticizing not only both literary and philosophical texts but also political institutions. Eventually this thinking was applied to religion. Today, there is even a battle over the word “deconstruction” in regards to the Christian faith. But simply put, deconstruction is a tearing down of the faith.
Alisa Childers is a best-selling author and popular podcaster. Her latest book is called The Deconstruction of Christianity: What It Is, Why It’s Destructive, and How to Respond

Responding to Tragedy | Ep. 12
The recent school shooting at The Covenant School in Nashville, Tennessee was a horrific tragedy. But now the victims of this terrible attack are being painted in a negative light simply for holding to their Biblically founded worldview. What is the Christian response to tragedy? How do we go about preaching God’s inherent word, while also showing love and compassion? Rob and John talk with Lauren Cooley, Executive Director of the Institute for Faith and Culture, about these delicate issues.

On today’s episode of “Truths That Transform,” we’ll look at what happened to one man who stood firm in his faith, even when it meant sacrificing his career, and how we can stand strong when faced with such opposition ourselves.

And we'll share a preview from the impactful documentary, "What If the Bible had Never Been Written?"

Modern Christian Persecution | Ep. 10
More and more, we’re seeing countless instances of Christians being targeted and arrested for simply living out their Christian beliefs in the public square. On this episode of the City of God, we take a look at the story of Mark Houck, a pro-life Christian who was unjustly terrorized by dozens of FBI agents at his house, in front of his entire family. Mark, and many others, are the targets of the weaponized Department of Justice under Attorney General Merrick Garland, who seemingly want to silence any dissenting opinion contrary to their own.

The Bible and the Coronation
Millions around the world tuned in to watch the coronation of King Charles III. One might be surprised to know how many aspects of the pomp and circumstance around the British monarch's ceremony are actually rooted in Biblical meaning. Dr. Jerry Newcombe tells us which ones in his commentary.
Christians and Resolutions | Truths That Transform
