Torty is about 4-6 months old here. Cute doesn't do him justice!

Torty finds love, or so he thinks!

Saw these huge golden wasps and freaked out. I looked them up and they turn out to be benign even friendly compared to other wasps. Don't try to pet them, of course, but they are pretty cool. They hunt other bugs we don't like, so, happy to have them.

Every year when it snows, Torty comes out to play.

Frustrating checking the oil on an old shovelhead. I figured this was a good time to install an oil sight glass.

I wasn't happy with the first patina, so I played with a vertical tank rather than a horizontal. Turned out pretty cool, but the color wasn't strong enough to survive the clearcoat. Looks cool anyway.

Sides turned out great. Top, not so much. We'll play some more with the top I think.
