Mourning into Dancing - Zoë Band - JBay Jam 30+ years later
Have you ever reunited with old bandmates after years apart? That's exactly what the members of the Zoë Band did after more than 30 years. In this video, we'll take a musical journey down memory lane with the band as they share their heartwarming reunion.
The Zoë Band formed in 1986, and over the years, many people played roles in the group. While they'd like to acknowledge everyone who contributed, the band singles out one of its founding members, drummer Darryl Blignaut, who has since passed away.
After years of being apart, the core 4 musicians of the band -- Donovan Oosthuizen (Bass), Franklin Oosthuizen (Guitar), Michael Venter (Drums), and Rory Townsend (Keyboards) -- reunited to recall the songs, chords, and notes that they had played together so many years ago.
While it was loads of fun to reminisce about their musical past, what was truly heartwarming for the band was reconnecting with one another. They set aside their individual natures to strive for that "perfect" rendition in order to embrace the moment, imperfections and all, and memorialize their music.
During the reunion, the band played as many snippets of their old songs as they could remember, hoping that listeners would enjoy their journey down memory lane. They also reminisced about the other individuals who played a large or small role in their journey, including Stewart Black, Craig Roman, Cecil Mitchell, Amber Blignaut, Delia Campodonico, Brendan Murphy, Lance Allison, Charmaine Venter, Vincent Fraser, Gareth Christians, and Sharonese Venter...
If you're a fan of music reunions or just love to reminisce about old memories, you won't want to miss these heartwarming videos about the Zoë Band's reunion.

BIG NEWS!! VIDEO CALLING AND SCREEN SHARING NOW ON TELEGRAM GROUPS !!
New Video Calling and Screen Sharing on Telegram Groups add the anticipated Conferencing features all inside the Application.
Today's update lets you turn on your camera or share your screen during Voice Chats in groups – on all devices, including tablets and desktops. This brings voice chats to a whole new level, ready for online classes, business meetings and family gatherings.
We're also introducing animated backgrounds, stylish message animations and more – enough to fill a second blog post.
Group video calls
Voice chats in any group can now seamlessly turn into group video calls – just tap the camera icon to switch your video on.
Tap on any video to make it fullscreen. If you pin a video, it will stay focused as new users join the call and turn on their cameras.
To start a voice chat, check the â‹® menu in the profile of any group where you are an admin (on iOS, you will find a 'Voice Chat' button right in the group profile).
While audio-only participants are unlimited, video is currently available for the first 30 people who join the voice chat. This limit will increase soon as voice chats take on streaming games, live events and more.
Screen sharing
In addition to your camera feed, you can also share your screen – or both at the same time.
To share your screen, tap ⋮ or ⋯ in any app and select it from the menu.
Noise suppression options
We've improved noise suppression in voice chats to keep everyone's audio clear and crisp, even when you're eating something crispy. We've also added a toggle to turn noise suppression off in settings – for those times when munching has meaning.

Tablet and desktop support
Tablets and computers have more screen space and offer more display options – tap to open the side panel and see a split-screen view of the video grid and list of participants, optimized for both portrait and landscape orientation.
Voice chats on desktop open in a separate window, so you can type and talk without minimizing anything. Desktop apps also have selective screensharing so you can broadcast an individual program instead of your whole screen.
When you're using a desktop app, anyone who starts sharing their screen will be pinned automatically. This is especially useful when small teams meet to coordinate their work.

10 Major Upgrades: Telegram's First Update of the Year Adds Exciting Features!
Telegram has recently added 10 major features in its first update of the year as a warm-up exercise for its users. Here is a closer look at each of the new features:
Emoji Profile Pictures: You can now turn any sticker or animated emoji into a profile picture for your accounts, groups, or channels. This feature is available to all Telegram users, even if they don't have Telegram Premium. You can even set or suggest profile pictures for your contacts by editing their information on Telegram.
Emoji Categories: Stickers and emojis are now sorted by categories, making it easier for you to find the right one. You can now find them in the panel and when choosing reactions or statuses. Simply hold any emoji to zoom in and get a better look before sending.
Translating Entire Chats: Premium users can now translate entire chats, groups, and channels in real-time by tapping the Translate bar at the top. The options menu allows you to hide the bar and control which languages are translated. All users can translate individual messages by selecting them and tapping "Translate."
Network Usage: With the updated feature, you can now see how much data has been used by Telegram, including detailed pie charts for Wi-Fi and mobile data usage. You can even adjust your auto-download settings to suit your data plan.
Storage Usage: This feature received a similar upgrade last month, making it easier for you to manage your storage usage. With Telegram, there is no need to store everything on your device. Media and documents can be removed from your phone's storage and re-downloaded from your Telegram cloud at any time.
Auto-Save Incoming Media: You now have the control to set when media is saved automatically to your gallery based on its size, type, and the chat it was received from. The menu also supports exceptions, so you can only save exactly what you want.
Granular Media Permissions: Admins can now choose whether group members are allowed to send 9 distinct media types, such as photos, voice, or video messages. They can also disable text messages to create media-only groups. This feature makes it possible for voice notes only or quiz-only communication without constant admin vigilance.
Annual Premium Subscription: You can save up to 40% on your Telegram Premium subscription by pre-paying for a year of exclusive features. Why not gift a few months to friends as well?
Chat Selection for Bots: Bot developers can now add special buttons to help users select groups, channels, or people that meet predefined criteria. For example, this can be used to quickly add the bot to a group where the user is an admin and topics are enabled. Bot developers can find more detailed information in the manual and on @BotNews.
Re-Login with Apple and Google ID: Logged out users can now quickly log back in using their Apple or Google ID without entering an SMS code. However, if you have a 2-Step Verification password set, you will still need to enter it.
New Custom Emoji: No update is complete without new packs of custom emoji, and this time Telegram has included 10 packs of custom emoji from its artists. These packs include several hundred icons specially designed for group and profile pictures. You can browse and add any of these packs right from the new trending section at the top of your emoji panel.
New Interactive Emoji: The animators have added new interactive versions of emojis. These emoji are not just limited to 1-on-1 chats and can also be used as reactions in groups and channels, adding a fun and interactive touch to your conversations. The new interactive emojis are a result of the creative efforts of Telegram's talented animators and provide a new way to express emotions and bring life to your chats. So, go ahead and add some excitement to your conversations with the new interactive emojis.

Unbelievable Voice Synthesis AI ElevenLabs.io - Is this the platform to replace Voice Over Artists.
It's not every day that I get knocked off my feet with a technology. being in the TTS world for many years even before it was popular, I have not come across such a seamless and impressive platform as Elevanlabs.io
Besides the incredible voice cloning, the ability to read text without punctuation in such a natural way, including breathing and pauses, is mind blowing.
They have a fully free version for life, but I'm sure if you use it for production value, it's the best to invest in.
Kudos to the Dev team, even though there's tons of Ai rivals, you are doing magic.
