As I have hinted at in my updates recently, something BIG was coming up in my life. And today it came! This is the 2nd time I have gotten something this magnificent, this spectacular, for myself...

Just a couple of minutes of the neighborhood turkeys this morning as they start their new day.

This is some clips and snaps of our day trip to Saginaw, with photos at the end as always.

We spent the day hanging out with our daughter/son-in-law/grandkids at their new home in the country where the kids are discovering the joys of the outdoors, nature, and critters! Leelan's house bunny is also learning to love the great outdoors. They served us an amazing meal of smoked VERY fresh chicken, squash directly from the garden, and Bill's delicious chicken macaroni salad. And, or course, there were s'mores made over their newly constructed fire pit. Beautiful day!

A trip to the city for some shopping and then to Olive Garden to have now-3YO granddaughter Luna's birthday dinner!

This could also be carnivore without the horseradish. Simple technique for 2-ingredient bread replacement makes a crispy crust for any type of hot open-faced sandwich! This one is chicken, canadian bacon, horseradish, and cheese. Less than 10 minutes start-to-finish!

Something messed up and part of this video was lost, so you won't see everything I bought. But I shared what I have, anyway. I will share my favorite find in a future vlog, as it wasn't easily accessible when I recorded this; it will look better once Pete gets it settled in its new home anyway.

The last day in Indiana...for this trip, anyway!

Annie is my sister's 16-year-old deaf - and much-loved! - dachshund who gets a little confused now and again...as this video shows.

Shopped at 3 GREAT stores, had dinner at a fabulous restaurant too! Includes video highlights of one of the stores that we really loved!

I will be spending a few days with my sister in Indiana, just to hang out and shop and such. Unfortunately my trip down here was not without a little accident...

While we were out anyway for my doctor's appointment, which I discuss here, we stopped for lunch and then some shopping at one of our neighborhood Amish stores. This video is a "my face talkin'" vlog :).

While our daughter and son-in-law were closing on their new house and then cleaning there, Pete and I stayed with their 3: 13YO Leelan, 7YO Lyra, and 2YO Luna. They are always a blast! Also includes the family's 3 pets, our grandpets :).

Happy birthday to me! What Pete and I did on my 65th.

It was a gorgeous day outside so we decided to get out of the house and make a few stops at some of our favorite businesses in a few nearby towns. (We live in a rural area that has a half-dozen or so small towns within 20 miles, and we prefer to do most of our shopping in these areas.) This is partly narrated slideshow and partly actual video, because I can rarely resist recording our local turkeys; they delight me!
