Listen to God and you will be blessed. Below are the verses that show the benefits of God's Word. Romans 10:17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. I. God’s Word Endures Forever Psalm 119:152 Concerning thy testimonies, I have known of old that thou hast founded them for ever. Psalm 119:160 Thy word is true from the beginning: and every one of thy righteous judgments endureth for ever. 1 Peter 1:25 But the word of the Lord endureth for ever. II. God’s Word Changes Lives Proverbs 23:7 For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he: Eat and drink, saith he to thee; but his heart is not with thee. 1. Better prayer life. John 15:7 If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you. 2. More fruit. Mark 4:14, 20 The sower soweth the word. 20 And these are they which are sown on good ground; such as hear the word, and receive it, and bring forth fruit, some thirtyfold, some sixty, and some an hundred. 1 Thessalonians 2:13 For this cause also thank we God without ceasing, because, when ye received the word of God which ye heard of us, ye received it not as the word of men, but as it is in truth, the word of God, which effectually worketh also in you that believe. Psalm 104:34 My meditation of him shall be sweet: I will be glad in the LORD. Psalm 119 3. You will be blessed. Vs. 2 4. You will praise. Vs. 7 5. You will be cleansed vs. 9,11 6.
