Fun fact in no case did any of those courts ever say that Open Carry can be banned in favor of concealed carry. In every case except for one, courts held that concealed carry was not a right and could therefore be banned.

The funny thing is...Clement does not make that argument in NYSRPA v. Bruen. Perhaps he is saving it for oral argument in that case. NRA Lawyer Paul Clement says Open Carry can be banned in Peruta v. San Diego en banc Oral Argument

An excerpt from District of Columbia v. Heller on machine guns. It strongly suggests that Justice Scalia did not think that they are protected by the #2A. However, the wording in Heller is wishy-washy. It is highly doubtful #SCOTUS will ever grant cert in a machine-gun case.
