British bulldog skateboards into a pond
A dog skateboarded into a pond while being taken for a walk by its owner in China last week. Eventhough his owner try to chase but can't keep him safe.
The English Bulldog is iconic for its wide-set frame, muscular physic and compact stubby legs. The body is stocky and dense and the head is large and wide. A hallmark of the breed is the folds of skin that form around the face and forehead of the animal, together with the drooping cheeks that extend from each eye.
A direct decedent of the ancient Mastiff breeds and thought to have been mixed with Old English Terrier types, the Bulldog was developed entirely in England. The breed was first noted in the 1500s in the description of a man who had ‘two Bolddogges by his side’. They were bred with the purpose of bull baiting in mind. This required the animal be both strong and tenacious with vicious fighting spirit.
The modern English Bulldog is worlds apart from the fighting dog it was originally. The English Bulldog we all know today has been selectively bred over a few hundred years to serve as a companion animal. Although to some the Bulldog can appear intimidating, the breed has developed a great reputation for gentle play with children and tolerance for other household pets.
Their loyal and steadfast determination remains from their bull baiting days, however, and good training from a young age, paired with firm and consistent discipline is a must when owning an English Bulldog. They are predominantly house bound pets and require a good walk at least once a day.
The English Bulldog has fast become a popular family pet and their gentle but protective nature means that they are very personable and loyal family members. The breed requires a great deal of human contact and will show high levels of affection to their owners. If provoked or threatened by a stranger, the English Bulldog will bravely stand its ground and protect loved ones with determination.

So this is why so many people are scared of flying...
We're not saying you should spend the three minutes after takeoff and last eight minutes before landing frozen in fear, but you should probably be awake and alert. Research has shown that these 11 minutes are when 80 percent of plane crashes occur. Think about that the next time you're tempted to ignore the flight crew's instructions.
No one wants to spend extra money on a separate plane ticket for their infant, especially when kids under two can usually fly free. But can you put a price on safety? You wouldn't dream of driving with your child sitting in your lap instead of a car seat (we hope), so why would you do it on a flight? According to the FAA, "The safest place for your child on an airplane is in a government-approved child safety restraint system (CRS) or device, not on your lap. Your arms aren't capable of holding your child securely, especially during unexpected turbulence." Kids can easily fly out of a parent's arms during severe turbulence or a crash—hurting not only the child but other passengers as well. Survivable accidents can become fatal for unrestrained infants.
Turbulence Might Be Getting Worse:
Flight feeling bumpier than usual? It's not your imagination. Scientists say that the amount of moderate to extreme turbulence experienced on transatlantic flights could increase by between 10 and 40 percent by mid-century, due to increasing levels of carbon dioxide. Buckle up!
Your Plane Is Filthy
With planes flying on tighter schedules than ever before, there's often no time for cleaning before a flight is turned around for the next group of passengers. Since cold and influenza viruses can live for days on surfaces, planes can become germ hotbeds. Watch out for seat pockets (where sick passengers may stash dirty tissues), tray tables (a study found that 60 percent of tray tables tested harbored the "superbug" MRSA), and airplane blankets (which are only washed every five to 30 days, according to an investigation by the Wall Street Journal). Pack antibacterial wipes and hope for the best.
Pilots Fall Asleep at the Controls
Here's an eye-opening statistic: Between 43 and 54 percent of pilots surveyed in the U.K., Norway, and Sweden admitted to having fallen asleep while flying a passenger plane. Even worse, a third of them stated that they woke up to find that their copilot had also been sleeping!
Some Pilots Barely Make a Living Wage
Doctors, surgeons, pilots: We want these people, who literally hold our lives in their hands, to be well paid and happy. Unfortunately, many pilots are extremely underpaid, especially by regional airlines. Check out this pay chart for pilots and copilots—you might make more than the person who's flying your plane. Keep in mind that most pilots are only paid for time in the air (from when the plane leaves the gate to when it arrives at the destination), which doesn't include time spent getting to and from the airport, performing pre-flight duties, or waiting for delayed planes.
Airlines Are Skimping on Fuel
Airline cost-cutting measures are getting extreme. Some airlines are reportedly flying with less-than-recommended fuel levels in an effort to save money, according to a scary report by Spanish safety investigators. The report focuses on budget airline Ryanair, which is no stranger to cutting corners. Take this case, in which the airline instructed its pilots to fly slower in order to save fuel.
You Might Have Only 90 Seconds to Escape a Burning Plane
Better make sure that you know where the emergency exits are on your flight. The FAA requires that all aircraft be capable of being evacuated in 90 seconds, as a minute and a half is the amount of time it can take for a fire to spread through the plane. To up your odds, wear cotton or non-synthetic clothes; synthetics are flammable and may melt to your skin.
If You’re Not Sitting Within Five Rows of an Exit, You’re in Trouble
If a crash happens, let's hope that you're sitting within five rows of an exit. Statistical analyses of plane crashes have shown that passengers who sit farther than five rows from an exit have greatly reduced chances of successfully evacuating a plane during an emergency. Another way to increase your chances of getting off a plane after a crash is to count the rows between your seat and the nearest exit once you've boarded the plane. If visibility is reduced by smoke, you'll still be able to find your way out.

This dog just set the world record for the longest frisbee catch!
Love whippets. A really smart dog. He is about to catch a frisbee throw of more than 400 feet.
The Whippet dog breed was a poacher’s best friend, speedily going after rabbits and other small game. Today the Whippet competes in agility, fly ball, lure coursing, rally, and obedience and is a loving therapy dog. His unique nature, friendly personality, and stylish look make him a favorite as a family companion as well as in the show ring.
At somewhere between 18 and 22 inches at the shoulder, the Whippet looks like a Greyhound, but smaller. The Whippet exhibits the classic “inverted S” lines of the sighthound. The deep chest and trim waist; a lean head supported by a long, arched neck; and slim but sturdy legs combine in a picture of an agile, fleet-footed athlete.
Between bursts of intense pursuit, Whippets love to stretch out and relax for long hours, enjoying the role of a loving, and loved, companion. Whippets like a fenced yard to run in, but they do nicely in cozy apartments too—as long as they are exercised properly. Another plus for city dwellers: Whippets rarely bark. Despite the breed’s elegant looks, the Whippet is a robust, low-maintenance dog.
Two things make whippets happy — running full speed ahead and sleeping curled up on your best chair as they squeeze you out of it. They are quiet inside the house, occasionally barking if there's something worth barking at. Like all sighthounds, they love to chase anything that moves, and that includes the neighborhood cats. They do get along well with family cats and dogs and are gentle with children.
Sight hounds are not known for their obedience, but the whippet is probably the most obedient of them. They are also among the most demonstrative, enjoying cuddling and playing with their family. This affection is only reserved for family members, however, and they are not social butterflies. A sensitive dog, whippets are attached to their family and do not like to be separated from them.
Whippets can live in an apartment if you take them out for a good sprint a couple of times a day. They spend a great deal of their time relaxing and, as long as they get adequate exercise, they are quite pleasant and quiet inside. They do need the chance to run fast, however, to feel at peace with the world.
They do not like being cold and hate hard surfaces. If you cannot stand the thought of a dog on your furniture or in your bed, do not even think about getting a whippet.
Whippets like to be with you and even want to be touching you when they sleep. They are gentle and non-aggressive. The biggest danger to people is their wagging tail that can leave welts on you once it gets going and smacks your leg. They are hopeless as protection dogs.

Think my nephew got a bit too excited in the mirror maze...
This happens to my 5yrs old son even if he's not in a mirror maze. Gatlinburg is home to an excellent Ripley’s Believe It or Not! location that draws thousands of visitors a year, and definitely deserves to. Some of the incredible things you’ll see here include a genuine vampire-killing kit, shrunken heads, and a thrilling “5D” theater. They’ve just introduced a new exhibit based on the Guinness World Records legend. It’s a great time to visit Ripley’s.
One of the newer attractions is their Marvelous Mirror Maze. Remember those mirror mazes from the carnival? Slots set in the floor and ceiling would allow for constant rearrangement of mirrors, and kids would laugh and delight in the confusion of finding their way through. The modern mirror maze is a bit fancier than that. Ripley’s offering, for example, features snazzy LED lighting, a cool color scheme, and an infinity room.
The fun pretty much stops there, however. The maze is far too short and simple to justify the high price. Ripley’s website assuages any fears of getting lost with the claim that they send out “search parties” every 30 minutes. These would hardly seem necessary, as even small children are able to find their way out easily.
This is partially due to the lackluster upkeep of this attraction. Dirty mirrors marked with handprints make for an easy reference as to where you’ve been before. Of course, a mirror maze would have handprints everywhere — since folks tend to protect themselves from broken noses by extending their arms. There needs to be a constant effort to keep the mirrors clean, however, and it doesn’t seem to happen throughout the day here. Other upkeep issues, such as cracked glass, duct-taped glass, and caution tape, have also surfaced.
Don’t get us wrong — Ripley’s has some of the best local attractions including the aquarium and the museum and their mirror maze is far better than the carnival versions many of us are used to seeing. However, there are better mirror mazes in the area, such as the one found at MagiQuest.

This is the best fruit seller of all time
Best way of selling her fruits and I hope these guys brought plenty of fruit from her.
Vietnamese people are so nice and friendly, they know ways how to make people laugh and comfortable even when they are working. The woman in this video is wearing the traditional Vietnamese hat called Non La. A common sight you will come across while traveling along Vietnam is that of local ladies donning the Non La (Vietnamese conical leaf hat), walking gracefully along the sidewalk. Here is the story of the Non La. The Non La is a traditional symbol of Vietnam, which like many other traditional costumes of the country, has an origin story that comes from a legend. The legend here pertains to the history of rice-growing in Vietnam.
The story goes that once upon a time, during a torrential downpour of rain that lasted weeks, flooding lands and homes and causing unfavorable disturbances to the rural life, a graceful goddess descended from the sky. She was wearing on her head a giant hat made of four large leaves stitched together by bamboo sticks. This hat was so large that it guarded the people against all the rain, and she was able to dispel the clouds and rain, allowing the people to return back to a normal life. The goddess even taught the people how to grow crops among many other things, and one day during one of her educational stories, mankind fell asleep listening to her soothing voice. When they woke up, the goddess was gone.

STRIKE! Introducing the BowlBot 5000
Bowling is a target sport and recreational activity in which a player rolls or throws a bowling ball toward pins (in pin bowling) or another target (in target bowling).
In pin bowling, the goal is to knock over pins at the end of a lane, with either two or three balls per frame allowed to knock down all pins. A strike is achieved when all the pins are knocked down on the first roll, and a spare is achieved if all the pins are knocked over on a second roll.
But in this video , this machine shows an incredible way to knock the destination. I imagine they had it set to "plaid speed" to ensure nobody thinks its real. Not gonna lie if they kept it as a reasonable speed it could of fooled me they did an amazing job on the lighting to make it blend in even more.not gonna lie if they kept it as a reasonable speed it could of fooled me they did an amazing job on the lighting to make it blend in even more.
robotic bowlers do exist. The Equipment Specifications and Certifications team at the United States Bowling Congress uses a bowling robot name EARL (Enhanced Automated Robotic Launcher) to study the motion of bowling balls. E.A.R.L. (Enhanced Automated Robotic Launcher) is designed to be able to consistently simulate any type of bowling style with an accuracy and consistency on the lanes that no human bowler can achieve. Those qualities make E.A.R.L. invaluable in the many studies necessary to keep up with the ever-changing bowling ball industry…
The main goal of the ball motion studies, started in 2005, is to gather data about the complex dynamics and inner motion characteristics of today’s high-tech bowling balls. USBC is testing to determine how balls with different properties and characteristics act together, then use this and other information obtained in working with bowling ball manufacturers and other industry leaders to set performance-based specifications for bowling balls used in USBC-certified competition.
