Moving Beyond the Civil Rights Era: Why Black Americans Need to Evolve
In this thought-provoking video, we explore why it's time for Black Americans to move beyond the Civil Rights era and embrace a new vision for the future. Despite progress over the past several decades, there is still much work to be done in terms of achieving true equality and justice for all. And yet, rather than focusing on the present and future, many in the Black community continue to romanticize the past, particularly the Civil Rights era of the 1960s. But why? In light of recent events, including a speech by ex-Tennessee rep Justin J Pearson that sounded eerily similar to Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., it's time to have an honest conversation about why this attachment to the past may be holding us back. Join us as we explore the roots of this nostalgia and discuss how we can move forward and evolve as a community.

In this episode, I'm joined by my good friend and co-host @MiddleMAGA to discuss the dangers of identity politics for the black community. We talk about the importance of voting independently and the fact that the best outcome for black Americans is to vote for people who share our values and objectives, regardless of race. More and more black people are waking up and realizing that blindly voting for the Democratic party is not the answer. We deserve better than being taken for granted by politicians who only show up during election season. It's time to demand real change and hold all parties accountable.
We talked about the dangers of labeling people based on their skin color and how it prevents real progress

Why I HATE Black History Month Despite Loving Black History | Broken Traditions Podcast |Ep 6
In this video, I talk about why I hate Black History Month despite loving Black History. Broken Traditions is a weekly podcast that tackles difficult topics and I thought it would be a good episode to talk about Black History Month.
Black History Month is a month dedicated to celebrating Black history and culture. While I love all aspects of Black history, I don't particularly enjoy Black History Month. My reasoning is three-fold. First, it's a month-long celebration, which means there's a lot of pressure to participate and celebrate in a way that conforms to the mainstream. Second, the focus on black history at the expense of other cultures and races is problematic. Third, Black History Month is often used as a tool to promote

In this video, we're dissecting why the Black Anthem at the Super Bowl is a bad look for black people. While the NFL may think this is a great idea, the truth is that this only serves to further divide America into races.
Too often, events like the Super Bowl bring us back to the days when race was a major issue in our country. This year, the Black Anthem at the Super Bowl only served to further divide America into races. Rather than celebrating black pride, the Black Anthem at the Super Bowl only served to reinforce the idea that black people are second-class citizens in America.
Without giving away too much, we'll show you that the song didn't lyrically resonate with a majority of viewers, and didn't capture the energy and excitement of the Super Bowl in the way that the Super Bowl itself hoped. We hope you enjoy our perspective on this failed Super Bowl marketing decision!
