Night 6 orthok contact lens insertion Akemi age 8 Right lens went in super well, but pesky left lens kept staying on her finger. Once a bit more pressure applied and it went straight in. Contact lens insertion Night 4, Orthok (orthokeratology) Eyedream lenses Akemi 8years old. Notes from mum.... She's tired tonight and unfortunately they still do hurt once in, but we are all so proud of her and how brave she is and the fact that she doesn't need any glasses during the day has been amazing. She can't wait to go to school tomorrow and I joke no one will recognise her without her glasses on. On her 1st and 2nd day she needed to wear some old glasses that were a weaker prescription to what she is currently for watching TV in the evenings (approx -0.75D, compared to her true strength of -2.00D)but today on her 3rd day she hasn't needed any glasses at all for whole day She is having some calpol and well earned chocolate before bed and once asleep let the lenses do their magic before taking them out in the morning. Nb where she says 30minutes she means 30seconds

No smoke or mirrors, this beautiful bullterrier Tiva performs the most amazing magic trick, you see her go outside, and then just in the blink of an eye, she is there like she never left. Take a bow Tiva, what a clever magician she is!

Dougie found a new toy, the kitchen plug, he's mesmerised when it becomes a spinning top Dougie the bullterrier is such a cutie bringing his daddy the kitchen plug to twirl like a a toy spinning top for him. Just like an inquisitive child he intensely stares in wonder trying to figure it out, before picking it up and asking daddy to do it again and again.

Dougie just can't contain his excitement as he runs and plays in the first snowfall of 2021. Hilarious!

Cheeky bullterrier Tiva is doing time honoured skill of all toddlers who say they are not tired and having energy burst before going to bed. Cheeky girl is playing catch me if you can tonight. At least she'll sleep well after all that running
