0:42 Beyond The Black - Songs of Love and Death Reaction
4:44 Closing
Beyond the Black is a German symphonic metal, energetic, straight forward, without compromises band formed in 2014 in Mannheim, Germany by Jennifer Haben. Their debut album Songs of Love and Death became popular immediately after the release, and entered the German and Austrian national music charts. Where others are still stuck colouring out, Beyond the Black already shifted gears “Heart of The Hurricane”, the third album of the band, entered the german album charts at #5. Crossing all musical borders singer Jennifer Haben scored a slot for german TV series (sing my song) she will be starring at Vox besides other well known artists like host Michael Patrick Kelly. “Heart Of The Hurricane” will be re-released in big manner; the new “black edition” features a double-CD with the original record as well as three brand new songs and a best off from the first two releases. A perfect product for everyone that wants to listen to that band from every side.
With the release of their debut record 2015 the band and their singer Jennifer Haben blew up like a bomb. “Songs Of Love And Death” has been hold in the charts for weeks and the band received a prestigious “Metal Hammer” award in the category “Newcomer of the year”. The following album “Lost In Forever” drew on that success, charted at #4 in the german charts and led the band on a mammoth tour across Germany and the UK straight to Russia and Japan. Since 2014 the band delights their fans regularly at the Wacken Open Air. Beyond The Black is a band of excesses: like acts of nature, which collide untamed and who’s parts come together anew to a wonderful crossover sound with which the band excites again and again. Arranged Symphonic Metal, Melodic Metal and catching rock element build such a fitting sound unit, which unloads pure energy and creates new at the same time over and over again.
As singer Jennifer Haben tells with sparkly eyes. “The songwriting process was very intense and after all the experiences we made during the writing of “Heart Of The Hurricane” everyone knew what they could and had to put into the pro-cess of writing the new songs.” This enthusiasm is hearable within every line and every riff. From atmospheric severity ("Through The Mirror“, "My God Is Dead“) to Metal-meets-Medieval-Sound ("Scream For Me“, "Song For The Godless“) until to the bittersweet acoustic ballad "Breeze“ the arc traced up to the actual album. With “Still Breathing” they now release a new banger, which is dominated by classical guitar riffs. "We Will Find A Way“ and "Spiderweb Of Eyes“ are impressive ballads who found their way onto the album and show the listener another side of the band: big melody arrangements accompanied by fury filled lyrics leading to a big clearance. With "Heart Of The Hurricane (Black Edition)“, the combination of their biggest hits, the actual al-bum and three new songs, Beyond The Black release a record that leaves nobody unsatisfied.

Anoxia, a hard rock band from Maryland Vocalist Chrystal James founded ANOXIA in 2004. The band was a force in the Baltimore local music scene for ten years before an eight-year hiatus. Chrystal refers to that hiatus as "The Quiet", which has led to the title of the band's upcoming album, Relinquish The Quiet. ANOXIA has made a return now with Chrystal and her “Guardians” – “Relic” (guitars), “DeKay” (bass), “Dust” (guitars), and another Guardian to be named soon. Chrystal calls them her Guardians instead of a band – it is ANOXIA’s gimmick and her way of continuing to create her music without anyone else having control or holding her back.

Delain is a Dutch symphonic metal band formed in 2002 by former Within Temptation keyboardist Martijn Westerholt, intending for the band to be solely a project. Singer Charlotte Wessels was invited to join in 2005. The name of the band comes from the Kingdom of Delain in Stephen King's novel, The Eyes of the Dragon. In February 2021, the members decided to part ways. In June 2021, Westerholt announced that there will be a new lineup involving former and new members.
In 2002, Westerholt formed Delain, after he was forced to leave Within Temptation due to Pfeiffer's disease. In 2005, he joined with Charlotte Wessels, and was signed to Roadrunner Records. Lucidity brought to fruition Westerholt's dream of a musical project, featuring many well-known musicians from the metal community: Marko Hietala, Liv Kristine, Ariën van Weesenbeek, Ad Sluijter, George Oosthoek and Guus Eikens, Sharon den Adel and Jan Yrlund.
Fast forward - On 15 February 2021, it was announced that Delain's lineup had dissolved, and that it would be continuing as a solo project of Westerholt's who stated that he will continue to "keep Delain alive". The others have chosen to pursue different paths. In Wessels' statement on her departure, she added that she was moving onto her solo career, but wishing the other members and the fans well:
"I hope that Delain remains a positive force in everyone's lives. We Are The Others, always will be, and none of this changes that."
On 9 June 2021, Westerholt stated there will be a lot of Delain DNA in this new lineup. It was announced on 28 June 2021 Sander Zoer previously was Delain's drummer, had returned as the first member for the new lineup of the band. On 12 July 2021, Delain reintroduced Ronald Landa original guitarist as their guitarist. On 28 February 2022, former bassist Rob van der Loo would be featured as a guest musician for the upcoming album. On 19 May 2022, Ludovico Cioffi joined the band as the bassist. While announcing that they would return to performing shows in November 2022, on 9 August 2022, announcing their new lead vocalist, Diana Leah. The band's new lineup performed for the first time in Aarburg, Switzerland on 27 August 2022. The second single, "Beneath", was released on 29 November 2022. Simultaneously on the same day of the single's release, the band also announced the title of their seventh studio album, Dark Waters, was released on 10 February 2023. On 10 January 2023, the third single along with a music video in support of it was released for the song, "Moth to a Flame". To support the release of Dark Waters, the band announced at the end of the year that they would be touring Europe in April and May 2023 with Xandria and Illumishade, followed by a North American tour in September 2023 with Visions of Atlantis.

Wind Rose is an Italian power metal band founded in 2009 in Pisa, Tuscany. The band has released five studio albums, most recently Warfront in June 2022. The band play primarily a combination of power metal and folk metal accompanied by orchestration and vocal harmonies, with lyrical themes inspired by the works of J. R. R. Tolkien, especially Tolkien's Dwarves, from which the band also gets their aesthetic; because of this, the band's sound has been referred to as Dwarven Metal.
History
In March 2010, a few months after their formation, Wind Rose released a CD called "Demo 2010" which was produced by Cristiano Bertocchi. On 28 August 2012 Wind Rose released their first full-length Shadows Over Lothadruin via Bakerteam Records (secondary division of Scarlet Records).
In 2013/2014 they performed a number of promotional live shows in Europe directly supporting Wintersun, Finntroll and Epica. Cristiano Bertocchi joined the band as bass player during 2014 before the band went to the studio to record the second full-length album.
In February 2015, they took part in Eluveitie's Origins European tour and their second studio album Wardens of the West Wind was released by Scarlet Records. In October they also played as support for Ensiferum's Spanish shows during their One Man Army European tour. After these shows, Wind Rose dedicated the entire year 2016 to writing new material. In 2017, the band signed a deal with Inner Wound Recordings for their third album Stonehymn. It was released in May. The first video to be released was "The Wolves' Call" followed by "To Erebor" which gave more popularity to the band, reaching millions of contacts on their Facebook and on YouTube outlets. Wind Rose was then invited to participate in important metal festivals such as Bloodstock (United Kingdom) and Masters of Rock (Czech Republic).
In January 2018, the band was asked to tour Japan with Ensiferum, and in April and May 2018 they joined the Path to Glory European tour with Ensiferum and Ex Deo. In December 2018, Wind Rose announced a deal with Napalm Records and the recording of a new album. On 6 June 2019 Wind Rose released the first single on Napalm: "Diggy Diggy Hole", a song originally written and performed by gaming YouTubers The Yogscast. As of June 2022, the video has been viewed over 34 million times. The album Wintersaga was released on 27 September 2019.
On 8 March 2022, the band announced their new album, Warfront, would be released on 10 June.

Within Temptation is a Dutch symphonic metal band founded in April 1996 by vocalist Sharon den Adel and guitarist Robert Westerholt. They have been classified by critics as gothic metal and symphonic metal, although each album contains other influences outside these genres. Their most prominent and well-known sound is described as symphonic metal, although their earlier material, such as debut album Enter, was mostly gothic metal, with Enter also having a hint of doom metal. In an interview, den Adel said they fell into a symphonic rock genre with various influences. In another interview, den Adel stated that "We consider ourselves more an atmospheric melodic symphonic metal/rock band... In my opinion, we are not a gothic band but we have gothic elements".

Powerwolf, often stylized as POWERWOLF, is a German power metal band founded in 2003 in Saarbrücken by members of Red Aim. The band consists of vocalist Karsten Brill as "Attila Dorn", lead guitarist Benjamin Buss as "Matthew Greywolf", bassist/rhythm guitarist David Vogt as "Charles Greywolf", keyboardist Christian Jost as "Falk Maria Schlegel" and drummer Roel van Helden. The group uses religious themes and images, contrary to traditional power metal music, as well as corpse paint, gothic-tinged compositions and songs about werewolf and vampire legends.
They released their debut album, Return in Bloodred, in 2005. Their second album, Lupus Dei, was released in 2007. The band entered the official German charts for the first time in 2009 with their third album, Bible of the Beast. Shortly after its release, their first drummer Stefan Gemballa (stage name Stéfane Funèbre) left the band. He was replaced by Tom Diener, who was replaced in 2011 by Roel van Helden. In the same year, the band released their fourth album, Blood of the Saints. In 2012, Powerwolf signed with Napalm Records and released Preachers of the Night in 2013. It has debuted at No. 1 in Germany. Their sixth album, Blessed & Possessed, released in 2015, was certified gold in the Czech Republic. Their seventh album, The Sacrament of Sin, was released in 2018. Their eighth album, Call of the Wild, was released in 2021. Their ninth album, Interludium, was released in 2023.
Powerwolf has embarked on several tours, with a majority of their tour dates taking place inside of Europe. They also change their costumes for every album. Over the years, a theme has developed which personifies the band members as werewolves, leading fans to refer to the band affectionately as "The Wolves".
Musical style and lyrics
Powerwolf's sound has primarily been described as power metal and traditional heavy metal.
Powerwolf's musical style is different from other power metal bands. In addition to the classic metal instruments, organ sounds are used. For the studio albums a church choir was recorded. The band states that their main influences are Black Sabbath, Mercyful Fate, Forbidden and Iron Maiden.
The lyrics of the band are characterized by the treatment of Christianity and ancient Romanian legends. Powerwolf, however, do not consider themselves a religious band, but rather call themselves spiritual. When asked if he was a Christian or a Satanist, Matthew Greywolf answered: "I am a metalist, a metal fan. Metal is my religion. Look at all these people, what unites them? I can tell you, it's the fucking metal." In one of the interviews, Matthew is quoted saying.
Some people are confused because we never make a point of saying the silly words of which side we are on. A lot of people ask us, "Are you Satanists? Are you Christians?" And we never say anything about that, and we never will, because in what we do in Powerwolf, it's not important what we as individuals believe or stand for. We sometimes describe religious history, we sometimes write about Satanism, Catholicism, or whatever, but we never judge anything. I think on one side, this is confusing people, but on the other side, a lot of people do understand that we only describe or write lyrics about something, not to deliver a message.

Carbonstone / Anoxia Teamed up to create an outstanding tribute to a legend Phil Collins. Driven by a male and female fronted Hard Rock/Alternative Metal bands hailing from Baltimore, MD.
Chrystal James: Vocals
Corey James: Vocals

CARBONSTONE is an industrial alternative metal band hailing from Baltimore, Maryland. They have a sound that is unique and one they can call their own. I simply call it ‘kick ass’!
You name it they have it; heavy guitar riffs that blend with a jackhammer hitting rhythm section that is complimented by the outstanding vocal works of one Corey James. Put those things together, shake it up and pour it out and you have a euphonious ball of combustible bliss that is an absolute pleasure to your earholes!
On hiatus since 2014, the band got back together in 2019. Although the entire lineup did not return, several members did, including James. CARBONSTONE had a decent run prior to shutting things down; and with what I’ve heard, I’m betting that success will be matched, if not surpassed.

Corey James – Vocals/Songwriter/Guitars
Neely Johns – Synths & Production

Their combination of hard and fast guitar riffs with Turunen's dramatic, "operatic" lead vocals quickly achieved critical and commercial popularity. Their symphonic metal style, soon dubbed "opera metal", inspired many other metal bands and performers.

Lacuna Coil is an Italian gothic metal band from Milan. Since their formation in 1994, the group has had two name changes, being previously known as Sleep of Right and Ethereal, and they have recorded nine studio albums, two extended plays, two live albums, two compilation albums, one video album, and sixteen singles and music videos.
Inspired by the combination of gothic imagery and music, the members have been known, musically, for composing mid-tempo songs consisting of prominent guitar lines and contrasting dual female/male vocal harmonies to help create a melodic, detached sound. Much of the band's recent material, however, sees a heavier and more down-tuned style, featuring a more distinct bass line and a higher mixing of the guitars within the songs.
They have toured internationally and were nominated in 2006 for a MTV Europe Music Award. They won the 2012 Metal Female Voices Fest Award for the Best Album, the 2016 Metal Hammer Award for the Best International Band, and the 2018 Metal Hammer Golden Gods Award for Best Live Act. The band's 2012 release, Dark Adrenaline, peaked at number 15 on the Billboard 200. As of March 2012, Lacuna Coil have sold over two million albums worldwide.

Xandria is a German symphonic metal band founded by Marco Heubaum in 1994. Originally a project, Heubaum later restarted the project as a band in 1999, and has gone through various lineup changes. The German vocalist Lisa Middelhauve joined for the debut album, co-writing both music and lyrics for the band until her departure in 2008. Middelhauve reunited briefly with the band in 2010 following the departure of the band's second vocalist Kerstin Bischof, but left again shortly after. Manuela Kraller joined the band as the new vocalist in 2010.
The band released Neverworld's End in 2012, which was the only album to feature Kraller as she would depart in 2013. Dianne van Giersbergen was later announced as her replacement, and would record two studio albums with Xandria: Sacrificium and Theater of Dimensions. She left Xandria in 2017, citing personal reasons and tensions within the band. In 2022, the band had announced another lineup change, with the addition of the band's new vocalist Ambre Vourvahis.
Formation and debut EP (1994–1998)
Vocalist Andrea Ferro and bassist/composer Marco Coti Zelati formed Sleep of Right in Milan, Italy, 1994, and recruited Raffaele Zagaria on guitars, and Michaelangelo Algardi on the drums. After recording a song titled "Bleeding Souls" for the Noise of Bolgia compilation in 1995, Claudio Leo became the band's second guitarist, and Leonardo Forti replaced Michaelangelo on the drums after his departure. The band asked Cristina Scabbia, a friend and girlfriend of Marco at the time, to sing background vocals briefly, which led to her officially joining the band. Soon after, the band changed their name to Ethereal, and signed to Century Media at the end of 1997. Finding that the name Ethereal was already taken by a Greek band, they changed their name to Lacuna Coil.
Lacuna Coil released a self-titled EP through Century Media in 1998, shortly after Raffael Zagaria, Claudio Leo, and Leonardo Forti departed. As a result, guitarist Cristiano Migliore and drummer Cristiano Mozzati were recruited officially. At this point, the band was touring with Moonspell after the release of the Lacuna Coil EP.
Lacuna Coil's music has been described as being "heavy, melodic, and relentlessly melodramatic".
Lacuna Coil's music is mainly regarded as gothic metal and alternative metal. According to VH1, "Goth-spooked Italian maestros Lacuna Coil boasts the most distinctive and dynamic male-female vocal duo in contemporary hard-and-heavy music making: Andrea Ferro and Cristina Scabbia, respectively". AllMusic's Mike DaRonco said, "With Ferro's tortured screams and Scabbia's ethereal range, the group attracted a devoted following that soon spread outside of Italy and throughout Europe before they broke into the U.S. market". AllMusic's Andy Hinds wrote, "Rarely succumbing to heavy-handedness, Lacuna Coil escapes the stylistic straitjacket of the goth/metal formula, making them more accessible than many of their peers."
Comalies marked the beginning of a shift in the band's sound, as their "early repurposing of gothic metal evolved into something bigger, heavier and more accessible, it turned them into major players". The band subsequently shifted to an alternative metal sound. Karmacode saw the band move away from their distinctive sound in favor of a nu metal sound.
