Horse Training - Built on Trust
Big fun getting exercise!!
Horses are so much like people. They have their own language. A tail swish means something…so do the position of their ears, etc.
While horses have many unique needs/personalities…there are only 2 types of trainers/horse people. One type rules by submission, threat and fear…sound familiar? The other is a true horseman/woman and spends time getting to know the horse. The relationship is built on trust.
The horse who is ruled by threat, fear and submission is always angry, afraid and bitter…hopeless.
The horse who has a relationship built on trust…becomes your friend…and looks forward to seeing you and happily goes on adventures with you.
I think the second method is far superior. It is unfailing, consistent and it feels safe, hopeful, it steps in front of threats to protect.
Trust is earned…

Trust is Earned-Transparency in Voting Part 1
Trust is earned not given. The current election system is built on trust…and trust only works when honest people are involved. When that ballot leaves your hand voters have no way to know if or how it is being counted. Who or what is counting votes determines the outcome of the election.
Because we know that there is rampant fraud and corruption….we have to build in transparency and verification by the voter. We can accomplish this easily with paper ballots and anonymous verification, enabling the voter to track their own ballot and the tallies all the way to the end of the process.

Corruption-Legislative Bill Reform
Corruption is our number one problem. We need to create accountability and put boundaries on processes to stop the scope creep.
Legislative reform-bill reform
1. Shorten the length of bills will throttle back the pork and ability to include doing special favors. The infrastructure bill was 2702 pages long only 11% had to do with infrastructure-criminal.
2. Anyone voting on a bill should be required to sit through a complete reading of the bill on the House or Senate floor. If they miss one word…they are disqualified to vote.
3. All bills should be publicly posted for 3 months-to accomplish transparency and to facilitate public comment. Technology allows us to gather opinions from the people of Michigan, aggregate info and provide feedback. This will allow “we the people” to weigh in on how we want this state to be run.
This is part of my plan to hold politicians accountable…to uphold their oath to the Constitution and to truly represent their constituents.
