Shipping Container Timber storage racking Install
I have added a huge timber rack to my shipping container, this will allow me to acclimatise and store both raw materials and finished products knowing they will have little to no movement once installed.

An Update on the performance of the container is on the channel.
Theses shelves have been a great addition and really made full use of the space in the container for acclimatizing timber.

How To: Install Skirting Board And Cut Scribe Corners. ""Bonus Content"" The Ultimate Scribing Tool
This is a tutorial on scribing a simple room with skirting board. Showing you how to measure, a working order and cutting the scribes of an internal 90 degree corner.
The Bonus tool is shown in the scribng towards the end and reall is useful for much more than just scribing. I have never seen anyone post about these on power tool, joinery or woodworking forums/groups so hopefully a few people will find it a useful piece of kit to own.

I bought an Edgebander, How does it work?! Felder G320
So I always keep a eye on auction sites for machinery that would sit nicely in my workshop, I saw this compact edge bander pop up... at a price I couldn't resist so I got it back to the workshop and learnt all about edgebanders. Having never even used one, it's safe to say I have learnt a lot. I hope you have learnt something too. There is some cool inside the machine footage later in the video too and a sneak peek at another machine I have recently acquired!!

Rotten Door, Full Repair. Here's How I Did It.
I get asked a lot which blades I used in the multitool. I like these ones - https://amzn.to/3pthIyP alongside the festool Speed max blades - https://amzn.to/32lcY5R
The Panel in the video is not Normal MDF It is called Medite Extreme MDF Which is a product known as Tricoya - https://tricoya.com
The Timber Used is Accoya - https://www.accoya.com/uk/
Air bags used in the frame repair - https://amzn.to/3f2RE7X
This is the Long version of the door restoration. Please see here for the Quick run through. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J8csDfsHruo
In this Episode I am restoring a Door and Frame in a walled garden. Splicing the frame with a new Accoya section and replacing the whole bottom 1/3rd of the door. This is an original Redwood pine door, an incredibly durable slow grown timber (unlike modern redwood) and is well over 40 years old! More than worthy of a bit of restoration! I hope you enjoy the process!
I chose to repair as its more economical. Its a very durable gate already as it has lasted a long time up to this point. To replace the frame would be quite destructive and there is a lot of expensive timber and time to make a replica arched gate. I managed to complete this whole process in a weekend, 11am start on the Saturday and finished around 7pm on Sunday. A replacement would take an awful lot longer.

Like I mention in the video I normally use the crosscut saw to cut the jigs out nice and square, but for the purpose of you guys repeating this on site or at home, it is easily and accurately done on the table saw. Please keep your hands away from the blade and use support/pushsticks at all times.

Bespoke cooker Hood /Extractor canopy. Laminating the Curve
Halfway through building this extractor canopy I decided it would make an interesting video! So here is the part I managed to film, laminating the curved section with Bendy Plywood and bringing it up to a finish product.
I made this unit from Tricoya MDF to prevent any movement over time as it is situated above an Aga. The extractor Unite is a Miele item.

Ring Fence work on a Spindle Moulder
In this Video I am using a homemade ring fence setup to produce repetitive curved shape pieces for shelf brackets.
It is a basic run through of how to make/setup a ring Fence and the basic operations of such a device. The principle is working from a point on a fence rather than a flat fence, allowing curved pieces to move around the cutter. My machine didn't come with a ring fence so I use a basic homemade setup, I don't use it very often and would recommend using a proper ring fence with safety guards and dust extraction if attempting this yourself.

English Oak Cupboard - Part 3: Assembly and Finish
In the final episode on this little cupboard build I complete the construction and finishing of the door and then install it at the customers house. I haven’t got great photos/video of it fitted so perhaps keep an eye on my Instagram for some photos of it in the future!

Shipping Container Conversion. Insulated Storage.
Shipping Container Conversion. Insulated Storage.
A little different video to normal, I purchased a 40' shipping container as storage for my joinery and expensive materials (timber and sheet materials). This will be a god send during those damp winter months, allowing me to store everything I've made in a nice dry clean environment. The video shows the complete process, from groundwork, spray foam insulation to electrics!

Replicating Large Timber Mouldings using Spindle Moulder
I Have covered this topic before but I really enjoy making these bespoke mouldings up from various cutters. You really need to plan ahead to make sure very cut is possible with accuracy, or you will be left with a cut at the end which will taper out or dive into the cutter and ruin the moulding.

Glazing Beading & Sub-Cill Machining - Part 10: Oak Casement Window
In this episode we focus on machining all the smaller components on this window, the glazing beads and the sub cill from the remaining timber. There are many designs of beading, so feel free to choose one that you like the look of. I would make sure it has at least a 15 degree bevel on and weathered surfaces to shed water. Minimum is 9 degrees, but I wouldn't go less than 15 personally on beading.
This is the final episode in the series on this particular window. I will pick this up from this point on another project to carry the series on at some point in the future. If you would be interested in cross section drawings or the sketchup model of this window, if there is enough interest, I will put them on Patreon so please comment.
