Independence Day - Ron Peacock
Independence Day - By Ron Peacock - July 3, 1998
For some it’s just another day
for fireworks and big parades
It’s just a reason for a three day holiday
Mom’s and Dad’s throw barbecue’s,
lot’s of folks fly the red white and blue
The carnivals here there’s so much you can do
Take a trip on down to the local mall, their having a sale so buy it all
The meaning of this day has become so obscured
Did you hear about the crossing of the Delaware?
Cold wind whipping through Washington’s hair
Don’t tread on me was the motto on that day
One if by land, two if by sea
We threw them out of Boston, what a victory
The glory of that time for all the world to see
Two hundred some odd years have past
We came together, we made it last
And yes we’ve had our troubles on the way
Cause freedom won comes with a price
Some gave all, they gave their lives
For a principle much larger than us all
Don’t fire till you see the whites of their eyes
at Bunker Hill was the battle cry
Our banner flew proud on that killing field
At Lexington and Concord Bridge
They made a sacrifice so we could live
In a land where the choices are our own
With the noblest intent, they signed that document
The will of the people, the right to represent
So fly the flag and praise to God
The souls that came before us all
and hold dear our Independence Day
Yeah, remember what it means Independence Day.

Garden of Stone
A song I wrote back on May 9, 1998 while living in Cheektowaga, NY
Garden of Stone
Took a walk through a garden of stone
no one there but I wasn't alone
so many names in the Garden of Stone
Sun was shinning down through the leaves
felt the promise of a summer breeze
as I made my way through the Garden of Stone
Past the names that had no faces
the monuments that mark the places
where they all rest in the Garden of Stone
In the end it's clear that all we leave
are dates on a rock for some strangers to see
as they pass through the Garden of Stone
Now, little Mary died in forty eight
wonder what it was that sealed her fate
to bring her here, to the Garden of Stone
Some where fathers and some where wives
and I thought about their lives
before they came to the Garden of Stone
In the end it's clear that all we leave
are dates on a rock for some strangers to see
as they pass through the Garden of Stone
Sat awhile and contemplated
till I realized the sun had faded
and I had to leave the Garden of Stone
But I know I'll be back some day,
there's no escape there ain't no way
to avoid our fate in the Garden of Stone
In the end it's clear that all we leave
are dates on a rock for some strangers to see
as they pass through the Garden of Stone
Yeah, someday I'll return to the Garden of Stone

We’re One in the Same - 'I am a Communist'
We’re One in the Same - ‘I am a Communist’
By Ron Peacock
I keep Mao’s little red book in the back of my jeans,
Preach utopia but don’t know what it means.
Lenin and Marx are men I wish I had known
But they were all gone before I was born
Chorus
I am a liberal,
a free thinker.
I am progressive
I am a socialist
I am a communist
I lie, I cheat, I revise history
and the “useful idiots”, they all follow me.
I sue, I protest and peace songs I write
to weaken your mind and steal your will to fight
Chorus
I am a liberal,
a free thinker.
I am progressive
I am a socialist
I am a communist
Bridge:
For the needs of the many,
I take all that you own;
You’ll get a ten by ten room that you can call home
And your Bill of Rights is all I need
to pervert and distort your liberty.
In the guise of freedom I’ll take it from you
Yeah, me and my comrades in the A-C-L-U
Chorus
I am a liberal,
a free thinker.
I am progressive
I am a socialist
I am a communist
Yeah, we’re one in the same
it’s all a word game
cause a rose is a rose no matter what the name.
I am a liberal,
a free thinker.
I am progressive
I am a socialist
-comrade-
I am a communist!

Shep Smith pushes double (and triple) masking
Dr. Fauci, in extremely detailed, scientific language, backed by zero double blind, peer-reviewed, randomized controlled trials, extolled the principles of double-masking (the newest form of virtue signaling) to CNBC Shepard Smith , “... if you put another layer on, it just makes COMMON SENSE that it LIKELY would be more effective. [emphasis added]” An astute, scientifically sound declaration and one reflective of this mans many missteps and incompetence during his long politically appointed career, including his gross mishandling of the ongoing HIV/AIDS pandemic in America.
Not to be out done by the likes of Fauci, Contessa Brewer followed up with information from the elusive, unseen, ‘backed by no science’ “experts” commending the use of double masks. She then had the unmitigated gall of suggesting American’s acquire CHINESE made, SupplyAID, KN95 masks ... because why not? Red China is only responsible for unleashing this devastating virus upon an unsuspecting world!!!!!! And with Uncle Joe in office, we must grow the GDP of Communist China even more :-(
