Not Everything Recorded In the Bible Is Endorsed As Something That Ought to Be Done #bible
Clip taken from The Council of Trent's video When Atheists Misread the Bible.

It's important to understand the Bible in context.
Not everything that the Bible records is something that's actually endorsed as perfectly acceptable to do. If the Bible records unfiltered real history, then we shouldn't expect everything recorded to be sunshine and rainbows. Human history is filled with tragic events on account of the sinfulness of man, and the Bible shows this. These events aren't examples of what should be done but of what shouldn't be done.

Did Messiah Fulfill the Law or Abolish It? It Can't Be Both. - AltarnateMedia Seamus
Matthew 5:17 (KJV) - Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.
Matthew 5:17 (ESV) - “Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them.
When Christians say that Jesus fulfilled the Law and that means that we don't have to keep it anymore (making null and of no effect), they're basically saying He abolished it.

What Is Real, O Materialist?
If immaterial things like the laws of logic, mathematics, morality, etc. do not actually exist and are just neurological chemical brain signals, then how do you know material things even actually exist anyways if it's all just neurological chemical brain signals interpreted by the brain?
The Way of the Qodesh Natsarim - TruthUnedited (Edit)
The early apostles and disciples referred to one another as "the saints" (Romans 16:15-16, 2 Corinthians 13:13, Philippians 4:22, Hebrews 13:24, Revelation 14:12...), which in Hebrew is "ha qodeshim" (literally meaning, "set-apart ones"). They called their belief "the Way" (John 14:6, Acts 24:14...). They were known as the sect of the Natsarim (Nazarenes) amongst the Yahudim (Jews) (Acts 24:5). They later came to be called Christians ("Christianos" in Greek, meaning followers of Christ) at Antioch by gentiles (Acts 11:26).

Allah Prays - Sura 33:56 #quran #allah #muhammad
Quran 33:56 (Palmer) - Verily, God and His angels pray for the prophet. ye who believe! pray for him and salute him with a salutation!
"The same word is used as is rendered 'pray' in all the other passages in the Qurʼân, though the commentators interpret it here as meaning 'bless.' So, too, in the formula which is always used after Mohammed’s name, zalla ʼllâhu ʿalâihi wa sallam, 'may God bless and preserve him!' is literally, 'may God pray for him and salute him!'"
-Sacred Books of the East Chapter of the Confederates
Allah and his angels pray for the prophet according to al-Quran sura (chapter) 33:56.
O abduls, to whom does your allah pray to?

It Takes Faith to Be An Atheist - It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia Faith Debate (Edit)
I'm a fool because I have more faith in the saints that wrote the Bible?
Yeah, because you just read the words of a bunch of guys that you've never met, and you've just "taken on faith", then everything they wrote was true.
Hmm, and what makes you think what your scientists are writing is any more truer than my sayings?
Because there are volumes of proven data, numbers, figures... There are fossil records.
Oh fossil records, ah! I didn't even think about the fossil records. I guess I'll concede, oh wait! One more thing before I do, Mr. Reynolds, have you seen these fossil records?
Have I, huh?
Have you poured through the data yourself, the numbers, figures?
Well no, um no.
Oh interesting, so let me get this straight Mr. Reynolds, you get your information from a book written by men you've never met and you take their words as truth based on a willingness to believe, a desire to accept, a leap of, dare I say it, faith?..
Oh come on. I don't even know how I'm supposed to respond to that. Like, oh come on. That is a false equivalency.
Just answer the question, Mr. Reynolds.
Sure, yeah, ok.
I rest my case.
