A clash between two wild horses causes a lot of commotion in a herd
In an open field in the Oostvaardersplassen, a nature reserve in the Netherlands, some wild Konik horses are causing a lot of commotion by rumnning, fighting and biting each other.
Most of the other horses are trying to avoid the battle and step aside.
If horses fight it will be for dominance or for the right to rule their herd. In their herd they always want to be the leaders. We dont know what the reason of this batlle was, but it looks very impressive.

Battle between ants and wasps over deceased grasshopper
There is a battle going on over a deceased Grasshopper. At first the ants, with many, want to move the dead body of the grasshopper, but soon wasps want to take over and get their share of the meal. The ants don't give up though and try to scare off the wasps. A real battle has started .......
They attack the wasps and try to chase them away. After some attacks the wasps leave the prey and the ants go on with dissecting the grasshopper. This nature scenery took place in the summer on the island Lefkas in Greece. Some shots are in real time and others in slow-motion. Hope you enjoy this battle between the ants and the wasps!

Wild horses are demonstrating powerful air kicks to impress
In the Oostvaardersplassen, a nature reserve in the Netherlands, are two Konik horses demonstrating their powerful air kicks. Probably a way to show their strenght and impress the other one. After the kicks they have a ritual to smell each others POO.
Horses are such beautiful creatures and have around 205 bones in their skeleton. Horses diets do not consist of any meat, they are herbivores. A male horse is called a stallion and a female horse is called a mare. If a horse is standing up, it doesn't mean it's awake, horses can sleep both standing and sitting, that's pretty impressive! Horses care about each other very much, no matter what, one horse will always be awake. A group of horses will never all be sleeping, there is always one keeping watch. There is an estimated amount of 60 million horses around the world, that's a lot, wow!
Which horse is most impressive and the strongest in your opinion? Who won this battle? Please let us know in a comment below.

Dad and Ma Coot feeding their cute little chicks
You are watching an adorable scenery of a Coot family. Mother and father Coot are feeding the kids. Coots are small water birds as you can see and they often seen on lakes, ponds and rivers. They are close relatives of the Moorhen. A Coot is black with a distinctive white front face shield and beak. The Moorhen however is brown and black and has a distinctive red frontal face and beak. The chicks are also black but with a orange fluff around the face and body. They look really cute with their fluffy feathers.
Coots are omnivorous. They sometimes eat sometimes small animals, eggs and fish, but mainly plant material. They need to dive for food and that is not a big deal for them. They can easily dive below the surface of the water up to six seconds to depths of 2 meters or even more. They re-surface quickly, like a cork as you can see in the video. The chicks are floating on the waves of the diving parents in a funny way.
As you can observe, they have big feet, mostly grey, sport weird lobed toes. Those feet help them to walk on floating water plants and rafts, but also to distribute their body weight.
Enjoy the video of this Coot family and if you have time left, please write a comment below.

A horse fight is always impressive to watch, like the fight in this video. These two horses show their power in a fight. Horses are social animals living in herds. Scary moment when these wild Konik horses came to close
It is always wonderful to watch these wild Konik horses. I always watch them from a distance near to a tree or other hiding place. Sometimes they are playing, running or fighting and you don’t know in which direction. This time they came very close, so I had to take my camera and bag quickly to avoid a collission. I was just in time.
This is all happening in a nature reserve in the Netherlands, called Oostvaardersplassen.

Elegant moving Cabbage White Butterfly in epic slow motion
It is so beautiful to watch this butterfly sitting on a hydrangea flying away in slow motion. The movement is elegant and wonderful to watch. This Cabbage White Butterfly was in my backyard enjoying the nectar of the Hydrangea, before it flew away. Awesome to watch the movement in slowmotion, isn’t it?
This butterfly is probably a male, because it has one black spot on his wing. Females have two spots in the same place. When he raises his wings you can notice some yellow or light green colours on the wings. It eats cabbage when its still in its caterpillar stage.
Enough information about this beautiful butterfly. Time to watch the wonderful moving butterfly in this video. Enjoy!

What a funny and surprised expression of this sparrow when his juicy apple falls down.
It’s a paradise for a sparrow in this Elstar apple tree. Lots of choice to select a juicy and delicious apple. He starts eating, but after a few bites the apple falls down. Look at his face! What a funny expression! The sparrow follows the fallen apple and looks dissapointed and surprised. This isn’t what he had expected.
You can find this house sparrow in most parts of the world. This bird is family of the Passeridea. Males have bright black, white and brown markings, while females are coloured pale with smaller brown and grey markings. He lives in urban and rural settings like this one in my backyard. It’s a small bird with a length of around 16cm.
This little fellow had bad luck and his expression when the apple drops down is priceless and funny.

The best compilation of fighting wild horses ever!
This video is a compilation of the best scenes of fighting wild horses that this person captured over the last 5 years. Horses definitely have a lot of strength, as we can see from this video. Several scuffles break out between wild konik horses in the Oostvaardersplassen, the Netherlands. This is certainly raw power at its finest. You don't want to be around a horse when they are mad, they have the ability to knock you over in an instant!

A Sparrow makes acrobatic moves to get a larva out of the water.
Sometimes you have to do a lot of effort and acrobatic moves to get some food, like this Sparrow is doing. Standing on the edge of a pond he is trying to get a larva out of the water. He uses his wings to move upside down, almost falling into the water. At the end he is successful and flies to the side of the pond. Slow-motion is used to make it more visible.

This butterfly enjoys the nectar from a lavender plant, but when it attempts to fly off to another flower it gets its leg caught. Fortunately it is able to free itself by using some wing power. So much cooler in slow motion!

Mating Dragonflies in a rough-and-tumble affair.
This pair of mating dragonflies use their flexibility and acrobatic skill as if they are performers in a show. Dragonfly sex is a rough affair. Males get scratches, females get bitten. It looks in this video as if the male beats the female into the water. After the mating the female lays or drop her eggs in the water or in living plants. This video is captured in the Oostvaardersplassen, a nature reserve in the Netherlands. The reserve is built on a polder—a type of low-lying land formation reclaimed from a sea or river and protected by a system of dikes—that was created in 1968 and declared as a Ramsar wetland in 1980.

Rebellion sheep cause disruption with a roadblock.
More than 20 rebellion sheep cause disruption with a roadblock on the way to work. I don’t know why they caused it. Was it a climate protest or was it about poor working conditions? They didn’t tell. There was only a lot of bleating.
The cyclist who rode for me was clearly stopped by the sheep. So it was my turn trying to pass the roadblock but i stranded as well. I was even surrounded by yelling sheep and got a bit scared. After some time of pushing and pulling, they let me pass.

Spider crawls across extremely strange looking bird
While at the park, this person saw a very strange looking bird sitting still on a bench. A spider walks over his head and he keeps an eye on the spider. It is a big and ugly yet a very friendly bird. He searched on the internet to find his name. It seems to be a Muscovy Duck. It is a large duck native to Mexico, Central, and South America. Males can be 76 cm long and weighting up to 7kg. Normally they are black and white and have a red face.

Fighting Wild Horse Gets Help From Friend During Scuffle
It’s time for another round of tag team wrestling—wild horses edition! This video features rare footage not only of two Konik horses throwing down and tussling with each other, but of a third horse charging in to his buddy’s aid (at least, we assume that they’re buddies!).
It makes for a totally gripping display of magnificent animals doing what they do best, and therefore is definitely worth the brief time it will take you to watch it. This video was shot in the Netherlands, at a nature reserve called Oostvaardersplassen. (This name is a real mouthful, although we’re guessing it’s much easier to pronounce if you’re actually from the Netherlands!).
The reserve is built on a polder—a type of low-lying land formation reclaimed from a sea or river and protected by a system of dikes—that was created in 1968 and declared as a Ramsar wetland in 1980. As mentioned earlier, the horses are Konik horses—a type of semi feral horse originating in Poland.
The transport of the horses from Poland to the Netherlands—and the creation of the protected wetland on which they now live—is all about human intervention, but everything else you’ll see in this video comes down to the horses themselves and is one hundred percent intervention free. And as much as we’d rather see horses frolicking playfully than involved in a fight, these horses are such beautiful creatures that it’s a joy to watch them—manes blowing majestically in the breeze around them—no matter what they’re doing.
Truth be told, this isn’t a particularly violent fight, so if you’re the type of person who’s squeamish about animal injuries (a category that we’re definitely included in!) you have nothing to fear by watching this. There’s even a charming little piece of music accompanying the action.
So if you’re hesitating before hitting the Play button, allow us to reassure you that have nothing to fear—but lots and lots to enjoy—by watching this video. It’s so rare to see truly up close footage of wild horses, which makes this particular video a definite keeper, worth bookmarking so you can return to it easily in the future, the next time you want to see beautiful animals in action. And if you have any horse loving friends, they’ll probably get a kick out of it too. This video may be fierce, but it’s also stunning.

It looks like a Wild Horse is jealous when the male is busy with mating. She shows here feelings and try to get attention by biting the male in his butt. When he turns she jumps and the male reacts. A labrador wants to take a nap in the middle of a crowded and noisy boulevard.
The dog in the video tries to take a nap at broad daylight in the middle of a boulevard. It doesn’t seem he is sleeping deeply. Is it because of all the noise? Probably…….
Do you know how much dogs sleep? When you own a dog for the first time you would be surprised how much time it spends sleeping.
Here are some facts:
It seems that larger dogs sleep more than smaller ones, because they need more energy to be active and therefore they tire quicker.
Puppies sleep more than older dogs because they are more playful and use a lot of energy to grow up. Sometimes they sleep 20 hours a day!
Older dogs also sleep more than younger ones.
The average time of sleeping is around 12 -14 hours a day.
Dogs snooze much less deeply than humans, so they wake up easily, but that’s also the reason why they need some more sleep.
