Bury the Hatchet is a two part film series that takes place on public lands in Wisconsin and the Midwest. Skylar Sommers (a Marine Corps veteran) shares his story on his quest for a public land whitetail with the bow. Skylar and his friend Curtis Zabel take foot to the public lands in Southwest Wisconsin in search of a trophy whitetail on public lands during Skylar's time home on leave. After years of public land bowhunting, Skylar finally catches up with a deer, which would be his first buck in 7 years with his bow. After a dramatic sequence of events, things look grim for Behind the Bow and Curtis and Skylar's friendship.
