Today the guys attempt to do some top water bass fishing in thickkkkk weeds. Some really tough fishing but managed to catch a few fish... And as always talk about nonsense...

Rototiller's running rough... lots of smoke... torn belt... a mess... New belt and carb cleaning has it running right! Ready to tear it up on a job tomorrow!

Today the guys try a new fishing lake... perhaps they should have stuck with their normal fishing hole... They also discuss how birds eat, wrestling, and "would you rather"...

So the boys had filmed a previous episode of the Rod-Cast... but knocking the GoPro in the water on a YUGE bass brought the episode to a end... Nearly lost the GoPro entirely but was able to recover with the audio cable attached to the canoe... Today was a new day and caught some fish... redemption by catching another YUGE bass!!!

Today the boys open the second mystery tackle box. While Nuke fishes only with the contents inside, Kevin goes with the classic "strike king" worm and nearly completes the shutout... until the end!!! Also what super power would you want, return of "the ultimate fighter", and much more!

Trying to get some irrigation set up and my water pump wasn't working. Was getting power but just making a humming noise. Replaced the start capacitor and fixed the problem!

Today the boys brew a Sierra Nevada Clone IPA. Came out to 5.2% and made from Magnum and Cascade hops from the farm! 153 Degree mash London Ale ||| for Yeast with starter 2 week fermentation at 65 degrees

Getting ready for first cut hay by fertilizing with 46-0-0 nitrogen in the pto spreader! Some more rain and in a few months it'll be haying season!

Got a few rocks buried in the hayfield this spring. Rocks are hard on haying equipment and driving around them while mowing, tedding, and baling is quite annoying! Spent some time trying to make the fields easier to hay but there's a lot more work to do on these fields. Fixing little areas at a time adds up! Got the goat manure and lime on the fields as well for fertilizer. Now we just wait on haying season!

Every year once my kids are a month old and start eating grain I make an easy creep feeder in the corner of the barn where they can get in and eat grain on there own. They have it free choice all the time and makes a HUGE difference in growth rates!

Been picking away at getting rocks buried in the hayfield. My excavator was on a job so I fired up the old John Deere 2010 Backhoe and put her to work! This old dinosaur of a machine doesn't dig very fast but got the job done! Found a nice big flat rock while digging as well...

Bush hogging some of the roughest terrains! Every winter I bush hog these fields and something usually breaks... this time is no different... spent 25 hours of total seat time mowing but the old John Deere 1050 is ready for next year...

Finally got around to cleaning up around the front of the goat barn. All the junk got pushed outside when the barn was rebuilt so now the goats finally have a clear area to go outside...

This is the way I pressure transfer from the SS Brewtech Brew Bucket to a keg. This helps reduce the amount of oxygen being exposed to the beer in the fermenter which can cause off flavors and oxidation. I always transfer my beers to kegs under pressure!
