I wanted to build an 8.6 blackout as soon as I started hearing the chatter about the cartridge. I waited for a while so more products would hopefully hit the market and it would grow into a more mainstream cartridge. 2 years later I’m still kind of waiting for that to happen, but I dove in and built one. In this video I get the primary arms LPVO mounted with a warne scope mount. I also got some Tromix muzzle devices to try out on this gun. In the future I’ll do a video comparing the different muzzle devices. Hopefully I didn’t build a gun in a caliber that doesn’t catch on, but looking at the history of the 300 blackout, I’m hoping this follows the same path. I'm re-arranging my gun wall to utilize the space better. It was a little too spread out and I wanted to make it a little more aesthetically pleasing. I'm upgrading my Springfield armory echelon. I Install a Powder River Precision trigger, Trijicon red dot, Magwell and basepads from patriot cnc, and add a weapon light from Holosun. This Apex forward set trigger kit is a great upgrade to the sig p320. This is the first time I’ve had the chance to try one and I was beyond surprised with the difference. I got a set of Trijicon optic height night sights for my Springfield XDM elite 10mm. Once I put the optic on the factory sights were useless so I’m excited to try these out. I wanted to build an 8.6 blackout as soon as I started hearing the chatter about the cartridge. I waited for a while so more products would hopefully hit the market and it would grow into a more mainstream cartridge. 2 years later I’m still kind of waiting for that to happen, but I dove in and built one. I haven’t seen any other videos of guys building them and I wanted to put one together. Hopefully I didn’t build a gun in a caliber that doesn’t catch on, but looking at the history of the 300 blackout, I’m hoping this follows the same path. I review the primary arms Slx 2.5x prism scope. From my first impressions this scope is solid. The reticle has tons of useful features for on the fly adjustability. I think this will be a perfect scope for any AR platform for shots out to 600 yards. I got an American Trigger Corp AR Gold trigger for my custom AR pistol. This is one of the best triggers for the AR platform in my opinion. It’s a different design that most and has some extra safety features built in, along with a crisp trigger pull and short reset. Let me know what you guys think.
