Walk with God
12-31-23 Sermon: Genesis 5:22-24 New Year Resolutions. ...😑
As you know, there are many different resolutions floating around as usual. Some people are making frivolous resolutions such as losing a few pounds, exercising more often, or cutting back to one pack of cigarettes a day...etc. Other more pious individuals are making resolutions to read through the bible in 2024; and the most pious are standing with Jonathan Edwards with a long list of seventy resolutions.

Great is the Mystery of Godliness
12-24-23 Sermon: John 1:1-14 We will be looking into the greatest mystery of all time; the true reason for Christmas. I know that some people think receiving presents, eating too much food, or spending time with family are the reasons for the season, but the incarnation of Christ is the true reason for the season. Unto us a Son is given, unto us a child is born!

A Pastoral Benediction and Exhortation
12-10-23 Sermon: Hebrews 13:18-25 "Pray for us, for we are sure that we have a clear conscience, desiring to act honorably in all things. I urge you the more earnestly to do this in order that I may be restored to you the sooner.
Now may the God of peace who brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, the great shepherd of the sheep, by the blood of the eternal covenant, equip you with everything good that you may do his will, working in us that which is pleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory forever and ever. Amen.
I appeal to you, brothers, bear with my word of exhortation, for I have written to you briefly. You should know that our brother Timothy has been released, with whom I shall see you if he comes soon. Greet all your leaders and all the saints. Those who come from Italy send you greetings. Grace be with all of you."

The Unchanging Christ
12-3-23 Sermon: Hebrews 13:8-16 The world and the things of the world are passing away, but Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever! Whoever clings to Him will receive an imperishable crown of glory, "but the wicked will perish, the enemies of the LORD are like the glory of the pastures; they vanish - like smoke they vanish away" (Ps.37:20)

Under-Shepherds
11-26-23 Sermon: Hebrews 13:7, 17 What is an Under-Shepherd?? So I exhort the elders among you, as a fellow elder and a witness of the sufferings of Christ, as well as a partaker in the glory that is going to be revealed: shepherd the flock of God that is among you, exercising oversight, not under compulsion, but willingly, as God would have you; not for shameful gain, but eagerly; not domineering over those in your charge, but being examples to the flock. And when the chief Shepherd appears, you will receive the unfading crown of glory. (1 Peter 5:1-4 )

Brotherly Love III
10-29-23 Sermon: Hebrews 13:1-3 Sacrificial and sanctifying love is a mark of a true child of God. Those who practice it as defined by the Word of God will receive the inheritance. Jesus will declare to them on the last day, "Come you who are blessed by my Father, inherit the Kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world." Are you living for a Kingdom that cannot be shaken? We have no lasting city here, but we seek the city that is to come.
Those who are building their lives on a lie shall be greatly disappointed, for the world and the things of the world are passing away, but the Kingdom of God endures forever and ever.
