2023 Flavor Cup Submission - DC Gatsby - Blue Falcon Strain
Enter the flagship strain of DMV master cultivator, Gatz Organic. The culmination of 15 years of strain hunting, testing, and blending, Blue Falcon is considered the pinnacle by its progenitor and is the one strain he always carries (all other grows are one-offs but are made available through seeds) and the only one he will never sell the seeds for. “This strain will die with me,” says Gatz.
While shrouded in mystery we were able to tease out some hints of Blue Falcon’s origin: NL5 with some Chem and OG mixed in. NL5, perfected in Holland, is a strain famously only available in Colorado and the West Coast but this blend is now alive and well in the East.
The dense nugs smell of sweet pine and citrus with bright orange lines running throughout. Trichomes abound.

"It’s not a habit, it’s a lifestyle”
Words to live by from the latest entrant to our yearly Flavor Cup, which celebrates the best flavor in DC cannabis. We'd like to introduce you to Lyfe Is A Style who specializes in DC's best edibles and flower.
This year they are sharing with us their DELICOUS Gum Drop Sugar Cookies, made from the hard to find Royal Cookies strain. Made from a tincture with care, the gum drops are 50mgs and the butter from the cookie gives another 100mg.
No stranger to DC cannabis competition, this team won best edibles from Toker in 2021 and are looking to take top prize this year!
From the owner-
"Life is a style is a lifestyle company it’s so more than cannabis for me. We are spiritual connected to the universe and all things. I want to uplift people show them how manifestation is real. How cannabis can heal the body."
