While riding my Aostirmotor E-Bike ( only hard pedaling, since there something wrong with the electrical components ), I came across a hawk trying to pull a long worm out of the grass. So I had to stop and check him out. After he snacked on the worm, he decided to get a birds-eye view of the area by flying up to perch on a low-lying power line above him. I walked over underneath him, where he was only about 3 feet above my head. He didn't seem to mind or care, since he knew that if I was to try and get at him, he was just far enough out of reach, so he felt safe. A few cars passed by to take a gander as well. I was waiting with the camera to catch him flying away. Unfortunately, a guy in a truck stopped to check him out and talk to me, and right when I turned my back the hawk began to take off. I caught only the last part of his flight up into a nearby tree. These video clips were taken on my iPhone, Thursday, October 12th, 2023. I took a week off from work so that I could repair the small areas of rust that were forming on both lower side skirts of my red 1995 Miata. I needed to get this done before the winter weather moves in. The right passenger's side skirt had a little bit more rust than the left side of the car, so it was a bit more difficult to repair. I used fiberglass putty to fill in where the rust was removed and then filled in smaller divots with body buddy filler. I also applied Rust-Oleum Rust Resolver to each of the areas to help prevent rust from coming back, before I finished it all off with numerous coats of flat black paint. For the small red area, I bought whatever looked like might be the closest match to the Miata red. Unfortunately it was not an exact match. But at least this tint of red protects the exposed area, and when I do find a better match, I can just apply over this red. I had only used this fiberglass filler a few times before, and it will harden much faster than regular body buddy filler, so you have to mix and be quick with your application. All in all I think I did a pretty good job. To see my imperfections you have to get down on the ground and take a close look. Up close with a camera really exaggerates small imperfections. The Duck Song Duck disappointed that The Man doesn't have any grapes at his stand once again, decides to show The Man up in high fashion as he jumps in his race car and jumps across the canyon. Once he's finished with his death-defying feat, he goes back to The Man and rubs it in his face, "How do you like them apples!?" Again, we don't know what exactly the duck was trying to prove here. It just doesn't make any sense from out perspective. But hey, we're talking about a duck here, a duck that has a looney craving for grapes! I've been working on this animation over the past several years, not really sure what to do with it, and how it should end. So I just decided to add a few things and complete it, once and for all. It's been too long since The Duck Song Duck made an appearance on my channel, and now he finally has, once again. This video is of the Cars Beyond the Boulevard Charity Car Show, that was held at the Theater In The Park, inside of Shawnee Mission Park, in Shawnee, Kansas on Saturday, October 7th, 2023. It was sunny but a low temperature of around 60°, which made for a beautiful Saturday afternoon for the event. I got to meet a few car fanatics while there. One guy Danny said he order an older 1974 car from Italy, something like a Valiant. He was anxious to receive it soon. I also got a chance to talk with Will of Wills Wheels. I will have another video up soon of my Miata drive t and from the event. For whatever reason, iMovie only allowed me to output this video in 1080P, not 4K. It might have been because the falling leaves green screen file was only in 1080P, I'm not 100% sure, though. These photos were taken on the iPhone 10, on Saturday, October 7th, 2023. A man with Bastionhead Woodworks puts on a woodworking demonstration at the Overland Park Fall Festival. Saturday, September 30th, 2023.

In this trail cam video, the groundhog shows up once again, showing off his enormous size and waddles by the water hole and off the the left he goes. Then camera captures footage of a large hawk discovering the water hole, and snoops around a bit before stealing a quick drink from the metal basin. A day or two later, the hawk shows up once again to mess around with something off to the side, before deciding to fly up to the birdbath and claim it for a brief moment. Take a quick glimpse inside The Factory where they make the best metallic cubes in the world. The factory is managed by just two robots, Felix and Marvin. Here we see them checking out the assembly line, making sure everything is operating properly. It looks like somebody is up to some shenanigans, as we see on Felix's back as he motors away. The rain lingered and stayed for a while during the church Of The Resurrection Car Show in Leawood Kansas, Saturday June 10th, 2023. Despite the rains, many car enthusiasts stayed and enjoyed the brave individual car owners who stuck it out on the cloudy drizzly day. 

My latest Blender animation creation - A traffic system on the highway at night, with 4 lanes of cars leaving the big city and heading into the mountains. This was a project I began working on about a month ago and at the time I wasn't sure on how to give the scene proper lighting. Now that I have learned a little bit more about how to light a project I was able to move forward with it. Once I completed the animation, I thought I would try rendering it using Blender Cycles instead of Blender Eevee. Each Frame took about 1 minute to generate, but I think it was worth it, since I discovered a Cycles render would give the objects better reflection values. So this project turns out to be my first one rendered using Cycles, except for the beginning and ending titles. Those were still rendered with Eevee. I was also able to incorporate my new "Like & Subscribe" green screen overlay with The Duck Song Duck flying in his newly painted red biplane. Just give that Duck one juicy grape and he'll likely do anything! This project was completed on June 1st, 2023, using Blender 3.4.1 and iMovie. Zeus The Cat, not able to go outdoors anymore because he might end up as lunch for the neighborhood foxes, longs to go outside in the backyard. He’s so close he can almost touch freedom. But all he can attain is just the smell of the freedom he once had. Oh well, just more time to lounge around the house and sleep.

The Duck Song duck is back! And this time he is more determined than ever to get his grapes. In this short, we see him boarding a retro rocket spaceship, and blasts off on his quest to reach the forbidden “Planet Of The Grapes”! Will he make it there? Will he survive? The Duck Song duck is on a mission to get his grapes. He realizes that The Man at the local lemonade stand will never stock any grapes along side his ice cold refreshments, so The Duck has decides to take an adventure to where no duck has ever gone before: Outer Space, to see if he can find the legend of Planet Of The Grapes. He commandeers a newly built retro rocket space ship and blasts off into deep outer space in search of Planet Of The Grapes. Will he make it there? Will he die in space? Will he encounter any evil aliens on his trip? Will he finally complete his mission and attain some juicy grapes? Will he ever make it back to Earth? Stay tuned and watch to find out! For this Blender project, I was able to design a retro rocket space ship with the help of YouTube Daniel Grove Photo and his Retro Rocketship tutorial, and also YouTuber Alaskan FX, for his tutorial on Epic Rocket Engine Fire Effect. Then after building my own ship, I decided to incorporate The Duck into the video ,since it has been a while since I was able to spit out a Duck Song spoof video. I have a few more I've been working on, but just haven't yet pieced and of the together completely.
