Cute ducks think they are funny taking dirt out of owners planet
Puddles and waddles one day found their owners hibiscus plants outside. They made sure Margo wasn’t outside as she would get mad at them, they stuck their beak in and started to sift the dirt through their mouth seeing what they could find, after leaving evidence that they did it, the two of them ran away. One day when Margo went outside and sat down, the pair of them walked up, looked at her and started to eat the dirt again. They realized that she wasn’t mad. She thought it was funny that they came back and did it. After a bit they realized that they should stop and run away, when they did that Margo got up and moved the plants. Puddles and waddles looked back and didn’t look so happy and found a place to lay down and take a nap.

Playful ducks go for an enjoyable swim
All ducks love swimming, but Puddles and Waddles spend most of their days swimming in the pool to cool off. They swim in circles, go underneath the water, and even bath each other when they are bored. These two are inseparable they always want to be together.

Kitty sneaks up on duckies relaxing in the sun
Roxy is a very adventurous cat who spends most summers outside. With the addition of ducks on the property she has stayed her distance until now. Roxy wasn’t too sure about them and once she got close she got scared to ran away, probably for the best as she is a hunting cat!

Super cute ducks go for a morning swim
Quackers, Puddles, and Waddles love to go swimming to cool down and get a drink. As they grow they are becoming more curious, they are learning how to get in and out of the pool by themselves.

Comical chickens wear mud shoes
Chickens don’t normally like rain, but Margo’s chickens spend the day out there walking around looking for worms. They took it upon themselves to scavenge the open field in behind for anything they could find. Margo left for a few minutes I find the chickens wearing shoes, as she got closer she realized they were wearing mud shoes but that didn’t stop them from digging holes all around them.

Lovable duck thinks owners fingers are food
When ducks are young they are experiencing everything for the first time just like a little kid. Everything new to them seems exciting, when they first discovered grass they were unsure what they thought because of the feeling on their feet, but now they love it. Their owner went and laid down on the grass with them, Quackers, Puddles, and Waddles came and joined her. Puddles was so excited to eat Margo’s hand and climb all over it. But after time they stopped, started to walk a bit and climbed up onto their owner, took a nap because why not, that’s what all ducks do when they are young

Super cute ducklings instinctively go for evening swim
Ducks have this built in instinct of how to swim built into them when they are born. Puddles and Quackers go for an evening swim to keep up with their daily exercise and to help them grow. Their owner loves to watch them swim and dive through the water as they only stay small for so long. Ducks grow up so fast and their cute little yellow “fur” starts to disappear. When they are young you are supposed to watch them in the water to make sure they don’t drown. But you have to enjoy every moment when they are young.

Precious baby ducks go for there first swim in water
Everyone loves to watch ducks swim, but watching six old ducks swim is a sight you never want to miss. Baby ducks just melt your heart because how soft and fluffy they are when they are young. These two little sweet baby ducks went for their first swim in a laundry tub to learn how to clean themselves. The pair took their first steps in the water and finally took some strides using their instincts, the two precious ducks started to swim. Once they started they didn’t want to get out, but sense they are so young and have to be supervised the owner said it was time for them to get out.

Fascinated Chickens discover snow for the first time
Now that it's winter the snow is finally here and with it being the first winter and holiday season Margo decided to see if the chickens wanted to experience the snow. They had been stuck in the coop for a few days due to bad weather, and so the chickens were also excited to have the freedom to roam around again. That day they watched the snow fall from the sky, but didn't quite know what it was as it was their first time seeing it. Margo went out and opened their door, and they ran out and stopped, they looked out, a few moments later they went out on their own free will and started to pluck the snowy grass from out of the ground and eat it. They started to realize that it wasn't so bad and then started to walk around and get a feel for these Canadian winters and what they will have to deal with every year during this cold season…Chickens aren't the smartest of birds either. Yes they know what their owners look like and their surroundings, but they don't really know that they will freeze outside if they spend a long time out there. They won't remember snow by next year though, as their brain isn't that big and does not have that kind of power to retain information like that. Come to find out they dont hate winter in southern Ontario and they like the snow

Donald Stump’s Testimony
With the presidential election just around the corner, everyone is either watching or listening to the news about it to get information and make the right choice for their country. Many people have also used this as an opportunity to make light hearted jokes about the two candidates that are running to be President of the United States of America- Joe Biden and Donald Trump. Some of which are carving them into pieces of wood, like Donald Trump from the rhinoceros party. Margo's family thought it would be funny if she made a video of Donald Trump, but as a stump. They were begging her for days to do it and since the election is just days away it was the perfect opportunity to do it. Margo took a trip down to her grandparents place to walk in the woods but also to find the perfect stump. One that wasn’t too big or too small but also had to have moss on it to give more character. Another thing was that it couldn’t be heavy as she had to carry it back out to bring home. This time of year is the best time to go on walks as the leaves are changing colours and they are falling to the ground, but also perfect as they are almost the same colour as Donald Trumps hair and helped bring out different tones of the wood. But in all seriousness, you have to take the election seriously as it is going to impact everyone’s lives. These videos are in no way meant to upset anyone. This video was made solely for the purpose of entertainment and making light of the election and all the stress that goes along with it. Everyone that helped create this video hoped you got a laugh out of it and that it brightened your day.

Just two dogs playing in a band
When scrolling through Instagram, different videos and posts come up. When Cora the dog was scrolling through she found a video of two chinchillas drumming and clapping to music with a can and their paws. It made Cora think about how she could recreate the video. First she thought maybe her neighbours, the chickens, but that wouldn't have been very easy Or possible as she hates them . Then her next thought was herself. She thought about how she was going to do it, and so she asked her friend. Right away there was a text message sent from Cora to Maggie asking if she would like to be in her band, and Maggie obviously said “Of course”. Cora took matters into her own paws, staying up late nights to plan it all out, and got Maggie to clap and herself to bang on the can. With a little bit of help with editing they had made their first music video. But a good band needs a name, so they barked it over and settled on "The Dogs Covid Band". With some more help from their owners, they posted the video on the internet for the world to see. The dogs hope they can tour the world some day and become famous as they know they have it in them like other music artists.

Fowl parade
With the Covid-19 pandemic, travelling has come to a halt to lower the spread of transmissions. Now all we have are videos and photos to look at of our vacations to remember the good old times before it wasn’t safe anymore. This is a video that a friend of Margo’s took. Nathan traveled to Turkey a year ago and this was what he got to see. As he was driving back to his hotel he noticed a huge flock of ducks and geese walking down a side street. He pulled over and couldn't believe what he was seeing. He ran over to the birds and quickly took his phone out to record this once in a lifetime scene. This was a parade of birds walking down the road to get entertainment to people without knowing it. This just made Margo’s day as she loves all types of animals like birds, but especially her chickens, and her imaginary ducks that she is hoping to get in the spring. Once he got back from his trip, they thought it would be hilarious to add background music to go with the marching birds. Travelling is something humans love to do. We love to have new experiences… like seeing a flock of birds walk down the street without a care in the world. This is something that Margo wishes she could have experienced in real life but this is almost as good as this won’t happen again.

Dog swims to save lonely ball from water
Cora loves to swim, if you let her be in the water, she would be doing it all day. When the owners decided to go on a family vacation they decided to bring Cora along, as it would be her first time being on vacation. Life as a dog travelling seems very easy, sleeping on your owner's lap then sleeping beside your owner, head out the window, sleeping and then you're there. But with COVID-19 they had to take a few extra precautions while bringing her. Knowing Cora loves swimming the owner knew they had to find water for her to swim in on the first day, so they went to Killbear Provincial Park as they have a dog beach. Since the owner had a waterproof camera, she thought it would also be a great time to test it. As soon as they pulled into the parking lot, Cora started pacing in her seat with excitement, wanting to get out. Once the door had opened, she bolted out of the car and raced to the water, ran down the hill fully spear and swam 40ft out and back ran up the hill shook herself off and ran back down. Cora spent four hours straight swimming her heart out, not wanting to leave, even though she was so tired. She spent most of her day swimming back and forth chasing after her ball and stick until it was time to leave. The owner would try and help her swim out, but she would just kick and fight you to let go of her. Cora won't swim and jump in the water from the same height as her owner, and when the owner started to jump off rocks, she looked at her and ran away, so instead they picked her up and held onto while jumping in. The owner was finally able to get cora out of the water a bit later and headed to their next stop. They had a blast.

Sourdough starter escapes from jar
During the covid-19 lock down period, a lot of people started to make sourdough starter to bake bread, so Margo jumped on the bandwagon and tried it but Margo likes to refer to it as “Monster Dough” starter. Something that grows too fast, something that you can’t control and multiplies in volume in under 30 minutes. The first time she tried it, she went from one jar to three jars in under 15 minutes, as it doubled, then tripled and eventually flew out of the jar and almost hit the ceiling. It was AWESOME. This sourdough starter was a different recipe one that she found on YouTube from a lady she follows, it was one that only consisted of water and flour. After mixing it all up and letting it sit on the counter for 2 days, it smelt SO SO bad, that she actually had to pay a family member ten dollars just to throw it out, as it smelt like rotten, spoiled milk. After trying the two recipes, Margo keeps going back to the first one, even though it grows so fast, and tries to make a run for it from the jar, it doesn’t smell and but most of all it works the best. After getting all the ingredients needed, she made some loaves of bread and the good part is the bread tastes AMAZING!

Chickens devour watermelon on a hot day
With the hot weather, lots of fruits and vegetables are growing. But the hot weather also means that all animals and humans get overheated very easily. Chickens are smart and try to cool themselves down by laying in dirt, opening their mouth for more air, and having their wings out. But they are also quite dumb. They like to huddle when it’s warm out, that why it’s a good thing to keep them separated when it’s hot out. So with the owner’s garden producing watermelons, she thought that she would go and see if one was ready, so she brought it in the house and cut it open to find out that it was still not ripe yet, it was baby pink. So her next thought was to see if the chickens would like it. Turns out they didn’t like it, they LOVED it so much that you could lose them somewhere in the yard and call them and say “Do you want some watermelon?” and they will come running. Watermelon is a good choice in the summer to keep chickens drinking water, as it is something they like but they also get some water out of it to keep them hydrated with the heat.

Kitty goes and says. Hi to chickens
Roxy is a very curious and nosey cat, and has to see what everyone and everything is doing. Since the owner got the chickens, Roxy hasn’t fully met the chickens yet and will never go and fully smell them, as they will attack her. Roxy isn't the bravest of cats, but she will satisfy her curiosity to some extent. She has met them once or twice before, but only when they were behind a fence or a cage. This was Roxy’s first time seeing them up close. She once again crept closer and closer, trying not to startle them. She didn't know what to think of them at first as they are bigger than her. She wasn't sure what their response to her would be. All these questions raced through her head. Would they attack her? Will they just totally ignore her? She took a few steps more until she was close enough to get a better look and smell of them. After the chickens only ignored her, Roxy decided to let her guard down a bit and watch these chickens as they went about their business. She watched them for a bit longer, and soon after lost interest in them.

Adorable chicken has a spa day- includes getting her nails painted
Nugget got a spa day. Her owner started with a foot massage/ washing, a back scratch and of course her nails painted. Margo ( the owner) had her cousins over and they asked “have you painted your chickens nails?”, Margo said “no”. So they begged her to do it, and she finally gave in. They wanted to give her a bath and do all the things a human spa day would be like, but of course she is only a chicken, so she can’t do it all. Nugget handled it all very well, as she kinda enjoyed all the attention, and she lives to be held so it worked out perfectly that she would stay there long enough for it to be done. Nugget’s nails are the perfect length to actually be able to see the colour which is kinda nice, some people wish they had nails that long. Margo has a pampered chicken, that is VERY spoiled and gets whatever she wants. Life as a Chicken is quite easy living there, unless you are getting attacked by another chicken. Nugget is a great pet to Margo and is her friend, nuggets friend too she quite enjoys Margo’s company.

Strange Caterpillar looks for a new home
You know that something is bad when a chicken won’t eat something, comes to find out something is bad because they wouldn’t go near it. Today was the day Margo had to clean out the chicken coop. So she grabbed the wheelbarrow to get the job done and all of a sudden this HUGE Caterpillar came crawling up the side of it. So she gets a stick and picks it up with it (without touching it) puts it on and gets a video then puts it in a jar. Then goes back to what she was going, then she saw another one start to come up the side of the wheelbarrow about the same size. After she did some research she realized they were tent caterpillars, and they are very bad for trees as they will eventually destroy them. This type of caterpillar moves very fast and doesn't take their time. If you look closely, it kinda looks like they have suction cups on the bottom of them with long hairs and they also have excellent balance.

Dog escapes the heat by taking a quick pool time out
With all the hot summer days recently and no rain in a few weeks, everyone has been really hot and trying to find anything to keep themselves cool. Cora knows that she can go to the basement to get cooled down but she is too much of a social dog to go down by herself, so this is the next best thing to cool her down and keep her hydrated. The owner bought a pool a year ago and they've been using it a lot this summer, but this year she got a camera and was able to record it.
She filled Cora’s pool up and left it out in their yard and Cora's new favorite thing is to go and blow bubbles while laying down in it. The owner set up a camera, pressed record, and waited. Cora eventually came around their house and walked to her pool for a quick drink and to cool off. She hates people watching her so this was the best way to do it. Cora only stayed in the pool for a quick second, but it was long enough for her to cool down. Once content, Cora got up, and ran out of the pool to hide behind the fence to dry off before going back in.

Caring chicken goes for a bike ride with owner
The chickens love their owner, they don't care what you do to them even if you train them to ride on your bike. Nugget loves her owner more than the other two chickens, more so because she is the smaller one, and she gets left out. So the owner thought why not train her to be more of a pet. Nugget has ridden on her owner’s bike before, so the owner grabbed her bike, went and got nugget, and biked to a side road with no cars. Lots of people started to stare at the chicken and the owner when driving by and laughed. The owner didn't care, she was having a great time and was laughing with them as this isn't normal. Some people were walking towards them, but just turned around and burst out laughing. After those two things, the owner will hold her and pet her head to put her to sleep for a few minutes before going back in with her friends. She would try with the other two chickens, but they have been attacking the owner recently and are just are too jumpy and don't want to be picked up, as that is normal chicken behaviour, so the owner just leaves them alone. Though people don’t normally do this with their chickens, it is a pretty fun thing to try with one.

Chicken is put to sleep by owners loving hand
Nugget has recently been being picked on by the other chickens so the owner went and got
Nugget and while the owner was holding her she discovered she would fall asleep in your arms. Nugget will lay in her owner's arms, and in doing so, putting her full trust in her owner, as she is being pet. Once the owner realized she was falling asleep, she set nugget down for a few minutes and went inside and got her GoPro. She came back out, set up her camera on a nearby bench, and went and found nugget hiding. She picked her up to comfort her and got it on video this time. Chickens are so interesting but weird and crazy all at the same time.
