Once in awhile we at AN like to look at something a little bit different. These are two video's on the subject of the Richats Structure, located in central Mauritania. Also known as The Eye of Africa. Some folks, me included, think the site a remarkable likeness for Plato's description of Atlantis. An immense Pillar lays in the desert only 250km SW of Richats. I suggest the Pillar is powerful evidence to support Richats-as-Atlantis thesis because Atlantis entrance was said to be marked by the Pillars of Hercules, thought up 'til now to have been a reference to the rock of Gibraltar & any number of promontories on the Morrocan side of the straits. I found only evidence that supports the argument. Evidence found: 1. Smooth, even plane for hundreds of kilometers to the south of the Richat Structure. 2. Many beautiful and large mountains in the area immediately surrounding the Richat. 3. Neolithic artifacts found in abundance. 4. Observable mud flats. 5. Exact construction techniques described by Plato still in use today both inside and at the entrance to the Richat in Ouadane. 6. Tops of rings are perfectly leveled and ideal for construction. 7. Freshwater fossils carbon dated to the time of Atlantis' existence and destruction. I think a lot more work needs to be done at the Richat, especially be geologists and archaeologists. There are no ruins or evidence of ancient civilization to be found anywhere that I found, but if the city was built with relatively primitive building techniques like those still used today at the site by local peoples, nothing would have survived a cataclysmic flood. Could this have been the pivotal moment when humanity suddenly became obsessed with utilizing the largest stones possible in their constructions? AN is not here to discuss them all. Suffice to say that until the invention of an "eroded dome" thesis, modern science had little logical explanation for the site. No evidence that it stems from either an extra terrestrial impact or a terrestrial volcano has ever been found. Hence the new but weak eroded dome thesis. The Atlantis thesis for the Richat site is given a major boost by the discovery of this fallen pillar, which would have stood almost 700m tall. The Pillar lies near to what may have been it's base. 250km SW of the Richat site. The Warsaw radio tower which collapsed in the 90's but was the worlds tallest structure until it did. It was 646m tall. This makes an ancient & almost 700m tall Fallen Pillar in Mauritania a considerable feat of construction for it's time. Whenever that time might have been. The so-called Pillars of Hercules were also said to guard the entrance to Atlantis, up to now often thought to refer to the promontories of Gibraltar & any number of mountains on the Moroccan side of the straits. Obviously the discovery of this immense pillar only 250km SW of the Richat site not only puts the Gibraltar/Pillar thesis into doubt but also offers powerful supports the Richat-as-Atlantis thesis. BEGINS - I wrote my previous post before I got to the end where the doctor talks about human origins, another area where I have to say, I think the science is being obfuscated behind politics & eugenics. I have visited this site & I am convinced this thing is as real as you & I! It's existence throws some rather good sized shade over what we think we know about our origins. Seems we may have devolved down from some very large human-like origins & not up from apes as we're told. This mirrors much of what we know about pre-history, filled with enormous ferns, insects, & giant lizards. They have all grown smaller & smaller over the millennia, but, at least according to the accepted narrative, we have not. John mentions that Southern Africans are devoid of Neanderthal DNA & no Neanderthals have ever been found down here. This is true. What we DO find down here, however, is Homo Heidelbergensis, also found in Europe & elsewhere. The skull of Broken Hill Man, now known as the Kabwe skull, the first ancient hominid ever discovered in 1921 in Zambia, shows Heidelbergensis to be a good deal taller & more robust than we. The Berg Aukas hip-bone, found in a Namibian tin mine in the 60's & now housed at Wits University in Johannesburg, is at least twice the size of a modern human hip-bone, suggesting this particular individual stood at least 10 or 12 feet tall.
