Dog and lion cub are best friends
Honey the dog and Kwanza the white lion cub are the best of friends. Kwanza's mother was originally rearing him until she stopped producing milk, which led him to being hand raised by the owners at Darling Downs Zoo in Pilton, Australia.

Kitten goes wild inside a box
There's something about boxes that make this kitty turn wild, I'm not exactly sure why? Any ideas? Does your cat do this?

Cattle dog befriends adorable disabled kitten
Ralphee the kitten and Max the cattle dog are an odd couple who seem besotted with each other's company after they were introduced following Ralphee's rescue from a barn next to a horse stable.
Ralphee's condition is a neurological disorder known as feline cerebellar hypoplasia. A kitten is born with "CH" when their cerebellum, the part of the brain that controls fine motor skills and coordination, is underdeveloped at birth.
These cats are known for their "drunken sailor" walk, which is why they're known endearingly as "wobbly cats".
Unless a CH cat has other health issues, their life expectancy is the same as a cat's without CH. Since the condition is non-progressive, it will never get worse; and in some cases, owners say that their cats become more capable over time.
Ever since Ralphee was brought home, Max is never far away. He appears to be forever curious and watches over Ralphee wherever she goes. Despite her condition, Ralphee is a happy cat who, like most kittens loves affection and causing all sorts of trouble wherever she goes.

These Tree Kangaroo Joeys Will Melt Your Heart
Have you ever seen a Tree Kangaroo Joey? Margit Cianelli is a wildlife carer who currently has two tree kangaroo joeys in care, Anneli and Kimberley. Both joeys are from the wild, having lost contact with their mothers due to natural circumstances (possibly a rejection).
During their time in care with Margit, at her successful rainforest homestay called the 'Lumholtz Lodge', they will spend many months learning how to climb (inside and outside). They will also be taught which foods are safe to eat (even some spaghetti as a snack) and how to handle disputes with other tree kangaroos. At this age, the joeys love to explore the furniture and wrestle with teddy bears. Preparing tree kangaroo joeys for the wild is a very long process, however, Margit is committed to giving these two joeys the best chance possible of survival.
A dedicated wildlife carer, Margit was born in Germany and trained as a ZOO keeper in Stuttgart Zoological Garden before moving to Australia in 1972. There she focused herself on the endemic Lumholtz Tree-Kangaroo, naming her ledge after the animal. She spent the last 40 years of her life taking care of sick and orphaned wildlife, recognizing her internationally in the natural history world.
She has an extensive knowledge of the rainforest and its unique inhabitants, which will provide you with an unforgettable experience, should you decide on visiting.
