Patriots for America militia patrol southern border to block immigration The group were out on patrol at the southern border near Del Rio on Sunday, seeking to help local law enforcement detain undocumented migrants who cross the frontier into the US. Samuel Hall and his team were carrying automatic rifles, as the group scouted for signs of recent arrivals. Hall explained the mission by way of a recent incident involving migrants spotted on the US side of the border. "We saw people jumping on the train and going between the rail cars and so we ended up chasing them off again just to be a deterrent not to detain or make any arrests..." he said. Hall said the group try to 'funnel' migrants into a certain area where border forces can detain them. "That's how we've been working with law enforcement," he stated.
