Bobcat stalks and almost catches a prairie dog

A bobcat visited us this morning and seemed very upset with his own reflection in the window

With the recent release of The tiger King on Netflix I just wanted to show that not all exotic animal owners are irresponsible. Most of us have our animals well being. health and happiness in mind. and don't get involved in drama. unfortunately there are people trying to get our rights taken away. I won't mention names. and they have been successful so far. but we will keep fighting to keep our rights to help these animals and give them homes. thank you.

Update 8/12/16: I have turned off the comments because I was sick of armchair experts trying to tell me I was going to kill my piggies or was abusing them, etc. My roommate & I were Pre-Vet majors, again, we knew what we were doing, knew signs of stress, etc. Also, this video was posted years ago, my roommate decided to find them a new home when we moved out of our apartment, and they have since passed away at that new home.

As an elderly gentleman, Alex is sporting a few old war wounds but in the absence of any fresh injuries and with all limbs working perfectly, we suspect a collision of some sort. As gentle as a kitten, Mr Alex is now enjoying bed rest, a full bowl of fresh fruit and a tummy full of juice.

The aggressive guinea pig noises began suddenly while the guinea pigs were loudly chewing collard greens. Acorn and Pumpkin were having another noisy fight. Usually this stops with aggressive sounds like teeth chattering, but today Acorn was ready to attack to defend her food. Despite being a small pig, she mustered a mighty jumping bite that can only be witnessed in super slow motion. Pumpkin never saw it coming.

Around 60 guinea piggy's go outside in the morning and go inside in al long row and eat pumpkins.

Desensitization is important! Playing games, having fun, being relaxed and introducing new things while reinforcing old lessons makes for good horses and good riders.
