Miles Boyer’s wife Kate went out of town and this is what happened while she was away. First he removed everything from the bedroom and removed their old, wrinkly carpet. After dad scrubbed the floor clean, their son Lawson really liked the acoustics of the empty room, but that was all for a very short while.

After putting the kiddoes to bed at night, the crafty dad repainted the walls of the bedroom into a lovely, warm ecru color. The next day he placed laminate flooring with his own two hands and the kids loved the new dance studio.

Miles installed new wall sockets, new curtains to go with the new wall color and returned everything back in its rightful place. A nice fresh start for the old bedroom.

The reveal went as you would expect. Kate came running to the bedroom door to find a refreshed sleeping area, without the dusty old carpet on the bottom and everything smelling fresh. It was the makeover that she needed.
