Santa Fe Locomotives

All about Santa Fe Locomotives - Steam & Diesel! This channel is brand new and I have big plans for it! My name is Sam D. Teague, author of "The Madame Queen - ATSF 5000". In my research to write the Madame Queen history, I learned a lot about the development of motive power on the Santa Fe Railway. My friend, Larry E. Brasher literally wrote the book on steam power development on the Santa Fe with his first book on the subject, "Santa Fe Locomotive Development" published in 2006 by Signature Press. I was fortunate to be his editor and publisher for his second volume, SFLD II. Soon I will publish the first video and I will have many more to come. I will be looking at steam and diesel locomotives of the Santa Fe Railway from the very first locomotive in 1869 to the last one purchased by the Santa Fe before the merger in 1995. We will be exploring all things having to do with the locomotives, both steam and diesel, of the Santa Fe Railway. Stay tuned for an exciting journey.
