0 FollowersNo, we are not a pair of middle age deviates - we are simply two people that enjoy the outdoors and camping. We feel too young (most of the time) to join the grey nomad fraternity. We have been camping and exploring Western Australia and parts further afield since the early 80s. As kids, we traveled extensively with our parents going camping, visiting out-of-state relatives, and generally getting out into the bush whenever we could. Fast forward to when we became parents ourselves, and we didn't hesitate in taking our own children out into the scrub and gave them all of the experiences that we had growing up. We recently had an ex-Australian Army tandem axel trailer that we modified to carry an actual rooftop tent, a water supply, and a basic electronics setup. We did a couple of trips in that, towed by our Y62 Nissan Patrol. We now have the ultimate touring rig, an ex-Army 1983 Mercedes Unimog Join us on our adventures. - Doinitmoggystyle (Mike and Bridget)
