While the world is rapidly moving into the era of transhumanism, the never-seen rise of the so-called artificial intelligence, metaverses, play-to-earn products, virtual assets’ surge, new format of banking and financial system, inventors and other stakeholders are not, unfortunately, asking themselves whether these developments will lead to genuine human intelligence, prosperity, awareness, and enlightenment. Social control, influence on human behavior, actions, and mind leading to the degeneration of humans as a species overall isn’t a benevolent ultimate goal we are supposed to pursue on Earth. First of all, human intelligence and consciousness should prevail before inventing, implementing, and rolling out smart solutions. Otherwise, we will all fall victim to such developments.
