Probate happens when someone who has assets passes away. The way to avoid Probate is to have the assets in a properly structured Trust. Under Nevada law, the Probate process can take 6 to 18 months, minimum. Probate will cost a deceased person's estate thousands of dollars in addition to the overwhelming amount of aggravation families are left with on top of grief of loss. I have a team of people here in Las Vegas / Henderson to help families navigate with respect & ease.
