The Song of Ffraed

I came to discover that what I thought was an "earth energy", a "dragon", as dowsers and geomancers call them, is, in fact, even more profound than I ever contemplated. In February 2023, She revealed to me, She is the Holy Spirit, and that this project, "The Ffraed Project", is one of "Rectification" - putting things right, making things better. Every reader and viewer who genuinely feels Her energy, will surely take an abiding interest. In spirit, they are joining with the paramount project of our Age. With us always, have been Christ; always, and sometimes, there have been other approved companions in body and spirit too. I can’t remember now the actual date I took my first step with them on this journey, but it was in 2016, at a holy well, in north Pembrokeshire. Her Holy Well. She introduced Herself as Ffraed and manifested a silhouette of Herself on a flat stone, in the chamber. I’d seen Her before, in white, in spirit, here and at St. Non’s Holy Well, but I didn’t know who She was then. As Ffraed, I didn’t know the half either, not till February 2023.

This is my Artist’s Statement We are a visual species. We think and dream in pictures, and in our attempt to clarify our perception of the world, photography provides us with the means to undertake a very specific exploration of this world, sometimes with universal implications. Rather than trying to create images to prove a point or illustrate a concept, I am interested in the function of photography to act as a witness to the world and to personalize that experience to the viewer an image that will then elicit their own involvement into that experience. As Henri Cartier-Bresson once said, “The aim of photography is not to transmit to the public a view of current events, but a particular emotion, produced by the encounter between the photographer’s inner world and the world surrounding him.” This Magic Moment” and creating a photographic image of that distinct encounter of the inner and outer worlds, that specific slice of time, is my purpose and exemplified in my art. I will never forget the heroes of the American Civil Rights movement, the suffering they went through, the fighting the RISING Above. These true hero’s went through so much to just have THE OPPORTUNITY that others so easily dismissed. Today that work seems easily tossed away by those who do not know history. This channel is in part tribute and in part warning. We face now a different war, one in which all that was worked for lies in the balance. One in which people do not think as individuals but instead as collective. We often fail to see the good in each other, dismissing those who don’t agree as invalid, inessential. This channel will have interviews, information and personal incites. On those things that make us as individuals and our country exceptional. This is my attempt to do what I can with what I have where I am at.. Postmodernism states the only truth is POWER. I don’t subscribe to that.
