Our mission is to provide a town hall like meeting space for the citizens of Bay County. A place where your voice can be heard. Every Tuesday at 7 PM we will have a recap of PCB City Council Meetings, Tourist Development Council Meetings, and County Commission meetings. When the state legislature is in session, we will cover the legislation that will have the greatest impact on our citizens. Most people believe it is a waste of time to speak at any of these meetings, assuming you can even make them. The response, if any, will be very limited for many reasons and by the time a vote is being called minds are already made up. We plan to change those dynamics by providing you with answers to the questions you have and getting ahead of the votes so that your voice can be heard. If you are truly interested in making your voice heard, email me at pcbcouncilwatch@gmail.com Let me know if you are in or outside the PCB city limits. I am setting up a list for both, so you can join any call to action we have. I will not spam or solicit you at any time. From time to time, as issues come up that the county commission or city council should hear your input on, I will send out an email that you only need to cut and paste and forward to either. If we come together and support each other, we can get things accomplished that benefit us all.

In 2019 I became a licensed amateur radio operator - KD2REU. I started with an inexpensive HT on VHF. A few months after that, I upgraded my FCC license and began experimenting with HF. With this new hobby, I am learning the radio business from the ground up. Through my adventures, challenges, mishaps, and achievements, I want to share the knowledge I am gathering with other new hams who are starting the same journey. I also invite more experienced hams to this community so that we can help grow the hobby together! Without the experienced hams out there sharing their passion for this hobby it wouldn\'t have much of a future. We will visit destinations related to amateur radio, ham fests, museums, clubs, stations, ham shacks, conventions, gatherings, educational programs, and much, much more.
