Hey I'm the Moorlander, and this is Moorlander EDC. I got into EDC (everyDay Carry) when it was really just 'stuff in my pocket'. I always had stuff with me to help me do stuff and get through the day. I could be posh and say 'I carry to help me tackle life's challenges head on' but that's a wee bit too cheesey... however it's kinda true. Bags have always been my main fascination, and the rest of the EveryDay Carry stuff just followed a long with that. I carry a wallet and phone like most people do, with a UK knife lay friendly knife, generally two dice, and maybe a flashlight or multitool... You know, you're general pocket stuff Hopefully you'll like my content and click on that subscribe button.. oh and don't forget that bell notification thingy too :D Oh I forgot to say. The main goal of this channel is to help other prepare for what may come in the future. The topics I will most often touch on are tactics/gear/weapons/medical/gardening/physical security. About me. I am retired US Army 22 years ( Infantry/Military Police). I also worked in Law Enforcement for 16 years. I attended many courses to include Active Shooter Instructor through ALERRT, Basic and Advanced SWAT schools. The reason I decided to start a YouTube channel is because I believe I do have some knowledge and information others can use. As I say, these are the ways I do things, its not the way to do things. Take away the knowledge you need/want, leave what you dont. One of my sayings is you should never make an important decision based on fear. Shiny Slander exposes slanderous media narratives about Christian ministries, leaders and the homeschool movement and shows how those false accusations quickly spread and ruin ministries and lives. There has been an aggressive and purposeful effort within the establishment and social media platforms to discredit and slander good church leaders and ministries as well as diligent homeschoolers with misrepresentations and lies. With the release of Shiny Happy People, a hit piece released on Amazon Prime in 2023, it was clear that no matter what methods are necessary, the media is determined to spin a false narrative to hurt the reputation of good families, homeschooling in general, and Christianity. We have to start revealing the truth! Here, the truth of those false narratives will be revealed with documentation, interviews and more. We will look at what is true and what is false, what is gossip and what is sincere exposure of sinful behavior within the church at large.
