150 FollowersWith what influence I'm entrusted to steward, and for the sake of what good remains to this world, I endeavor to stay the rot— to slow the decay of a world increasingly enamored of both. Though clad in unfamiliar garb and called novel by tongues sharper than mine, our needs and desires are ancient; they are the same today as they've always been: we seek meaning, purpose, and love. We were made for depth, but modernity suffers few to be parted from the shallows. This, too, I strive to combat. Though only human—and therefore often terrible at it—I wish to love others as I'd wish to be loved. Thus my aim becomes clear: whatever fate abides me to create is purposed with more than mere distraction; I undertake to fashion content of meaning, because YOU are meaningful— content that matters, because YOU matter— content of value, because YOU have value. - Gus
