Tammy K. Bruce (born August 20, 1962) is a conservative American radio host, author, and political commentator. Earlier she had been president of the Los Angeles chapter of the National Organization for Women. She is currently an on-air contributor to Fox News Channel and host of Get tammy bruce on Fox Nation.
Tammy Bruce serves as the U.S. Department of State Spokesperson. She joined the State Department and the Trump-Vance Administration in January 2025. As the State Department Spokesperson, Bruce is the principal voice on U.S. foreign policy, providing public briefings and strategic communication on behalf of the Secretary of State and the Department. Her role is integral in articulating U.S. diplomatic initiatives and engaging with global and domestic audiences on critical international issues. The Spokesperson engages with the press as the official spokesperson of the Department and advises the Secretary on all aspects of the Department’s conduct of press relations. The Spokesperson supports the Secretary in preparation for and during public media engagements and interviews.
