Welcome to Royal Amethyst Acres. Homesteading, gardening, vlogging, blogging, crafting and sewing my way through life We are a 3 acre homestead in a tiny town in Iowa, where I grow a very large garden in Zone 5. We raise chickens, domesticated animals, and of course, this homestead is ever-evolving and trying to grow to become more self reliant. A permaculture food forest is one of the many goals on this homestead. Trying out many types of gardening, farming and growing techniques to see what works best, and farm to market business in the plans, as well. Raising more chickens and other animals for meat and eggs, as well as some dairy sources, will ensure a much more self-reliant life. Consistency is key! We use the same template for most of our lullaby videos so the young ones are familiar with the low-stimulation actions, but enticed by different effects each video has, along with its change in lullaby music. It's important to have a routine before sleep and if these videos are part of them then they follow a routine too: an acorn family swinging gently side to side as other soothing effects take place. Sensory Lullaby videos were a big life saver for my wife and I during our first year of parenthood. They helped tremendously, whether it was used to assuage a meltdown or encourage a nap! My wife and I are excited to contribute to the community with our own sensory lullaby videos to soothe your child when in need!
