Hello Everyone We are Bert and Cindy. We are a family with 4 children and are living a simple life on just under 1 acre in South Western Ontario, Canada. Bert works full time outside of the home and Cindy homeschools our 4 children. Together we are homesteading our little piece of property by incorporating back to Eden permaculture gardening; raising smaller livestock from poultry/rabbits to larger animals like KuneKune pigs and Nigerian Dwarf Goats. Our goal is to become more and more self-sufficient and give our family a secure place to call home. Please subscribe and join us as we learn on this journey. Building a holistic homestead on top of a mountain in North Idaho.
We are working on turning our small acreage in to a productive homestead to become more self sufficient.
Welcome to The Two Acre Homestead. We are located in Cochise County, which is in Southern Arizona. in 2021 we just upgraded from an Urban Homestead which was on .18 of an acre. Now we are on 2.16 acres. We chose to document the start of this new homestead in hopes to inspire and help those who are looking to get out of the rat race of urban life to more quieter, country, and spacious life on a homestead.
