Hi! I'm Mituwel Dofu, and I make a lot of videos about health, fitness, nutrition, and weight loss. Most of my videos are super upbeat and friendly, but this one is going to be a little different. It's one of the hardest videos that I've ever made. It's kind of a big deal. In the past six years there have been two very hard times in my life where food has been the only thing that kept me going. I've gained over 100 pounds (and lost it!) using food as both a punishment and reward system. And in the process I gained an enormous amount of weight, wrecked my knees, damaged my wrists and injured pretty much every part of my body. This video is about that journey, why I did it and (probably most importantly) how I stopped doing it!

All three are enshrined in the Rotunda of the National Archives in an altar-like setting. Abraham Lincoln referred to these documents, particularly the Declaration of Independence, as American scripture, even using the phrase "American civil religion" when he invoked the Declaration’s place in American memory. We tend to take the Charters of Freedom for granted and hardly recognize that the Constitution was deliberately written in the present tense to make it a “living document.” While these documents are all related, they each have a unique history which helps us to understand their importance and meaning. Together they establish the United States' guiding principles on which people are not bound by tribe, race, religion, or language. Declaring Independence Americans celebrate the 4th of July as the day of Independence, but John Adams, one of the drafters of the Declaration of Independence, thought otherwise. Adams believed that “the day of deliverance” was July 2nd, 1776, the day Congress actually voted to declare independence from Great Britain. Learning to Read and Write with Imelda

The state of education today is more and more about a political agenda rather than teaching and learning the basics of reading and writing, arithmetic and mathematics, history and literature and the sciences. I created this Rumble channel Learning to Read and Write with Imelda to help parents and teachers to teach children to read especially those with special needs. I have been a teacher in both a homeschool and formal school settings since 1982. I taught all five of my boys to read in the homeschool setting. Two are special needs, one deaf whom we adopted at nine years old who could not read nor write and the other, my eldest son, is Mosaic Down Syndrome. This series of videos is a program I have adapted from the many phonetic and spelling programs available taking the proven best parts and blending them together to create a program that is easy to follow and will enable the child to read quickly usually by the end of the first semester. I also included a special sign language developed by Dr. Cornet called "Cued Speech" which enables any deaf person to learn to read English as well as communicate orally. The entire program consists of learning to teach the 70 basic spellings of the sounds of the English language and the letters which produce that sound. The child learns to hear, see, speak, and write the spelling as they learn each phoneme. I also have produced flash card like cards for you to learn these sounds and to learn Cued Speech notations which will help not only the deaf and hard of hearing, but also special needs children who need the visual cueing in order to learn.
