All about hiking and enjoying Mulanje Mountain in Malawi. Mulanje Mountain is globally unique and is regarded by some as the largest inselberg in the world. The geographical / topographical / geological (and other) characteristics of the mountain make it quite different from other mountains. Most hikers frame their thinking on other mountains which is why people who don't know the mountain don't know how to appreciate it and make plans for climbing it that can be quite different to the planning organised by those who know. Mulanje will not give u it's secrets easily, and neither will we. ;-)
