Barefoot Bible

Pastor & Author C. David Wright: Barefoot Bible is inspired by Moses and the burning bush experience. God has a message for him, but Moses needs to remove his dirty sandals. "5 And he said, Draw not nigh hither: put off thy shoes from off thy feet, for the place whereon thou standest is holy ground" (Ex. 3:5). Moses was the first member of the Barefoot Bible club. I was saved at nine and began full-time ministry ten years later. Early in our relationship, my wife and I committed to a Barefoot Bible philosophy: If our beliefs do not align with God's Word, we will always change our beliefs. The average believer has never been taught how to interpret Scripture. Like Moses, as we approach God's holy word, we must kick off our religious "sandals" to search for God's intended message. The goal of Barefoot Bible is to provide simple instruction in Bible interpretation along with supporting Biblical studies, enabling every believer to understand and apply God's Word.
