Book reviews of many different genres from an uncommon background. I was born in Singapore and spent the first decade of my life in Asia. My family then moved to America where I lived in six different states, picked up my undergraduate and graduate degrees, served in the US Marine Corps, then sold a company and moved to France. I've now lived in France for ten years, mostly in Paris, but also in a small town of about 3,000 for a couple years. I have an enormous love for reading, learning, and sharing what I read and what I learn with others. Yes, I have been told I look like Elon Musk. No, I don't know why Elon looks like someone half-Chinese and half-white (Irish, English, Alsatian, if you're curious).
