Shalom (Peace), I'm so happy you stopped by Get Healthy In Balance Recipes! I’m Stacy-Ann, a confessed chocolate addict, recipe developer, fitness enthusiast, and lover of all things lovely and well-organized. Health has become one of my favorite passions and my dream is to one day write my very own cookbook! I love to develop new delicious recipes, style lovely cuisines, shop for fun dishes, and most of all, EAT all the food! So why did I start this little blog of mine? Back in 2018 I sort of fell into that comfort period that I’m sure most can relate to of lounging around, watching movies, and eating whatever I wanted. Well, I ended up gaining a little bit of “comfy weight” as I like to call it and I wanted to get back into a healthier lifestyle. So I started making new recipes every week and I would always randomly post them on Facebook. I thought it’d be really fun to keep an online account of these recipes and photos. That was when Get Healthy In Balance was born!

My interest in health and wellness started when I saw my mom struggle with diabetes and blood pressure. We consulted many doctors, we did whatever we can, but her health deteriorated year after year. I was also overweight by 10 kg and I had all the symptoms of a diabetic person when I was 21. Doctors even prescribed me medicines and told me that I should use them all my life. But I was committed to reverse it and started more research into it. My Quest to be Healthy in a Unhealthy World Started! By using some healthy techniques and changing my food habits, I not only reduced my weight but also reversed my diabetic symptoms! I will share all the information that I learned during this process.
