You might be familiar with Captain‘s work: he’s produced over 600 episodes (and growing) and composed 250+ theme tracks for the show. He’s also had the privilege of producing music for other esteemed podcasts, including The Nighttime Pod, True IRL, Paradise After Dark, Framed ( season 2) and many others. When he’s not elbow greasin’ in the garage, he’s busy writing, composing and playing tunes. A talented and versatile musician, he’s graced the stage with the likes of The Roots, Kanye West, 311, Talib Kweli, Sublime, 3 Doors Down, Life House, Shinedown, Colbie Caillat, Jason Isbell, Toby Kieth, Shinedown and Dirty Heads, to name but a few. Captain credits bass players Jaco Pastorius, Marcus Miller, Victor Bailey, Les Claypool, Flea, Bootsy Collins, Gary Willis, Victor Wooten, Ray Brown—and many additional pioneering names in the biz—for his inspiration.
