বাংলা কোরআন তেলওয়াত কোরআন القرآن‎‎ ইসলাম ধর্মের পবিত্র ধর্মগ্রন্থ, যা আল্লাহর বাণী বলে মুসলমানরা বিশ্বাস করে থাকেন।এটিকে আরবি শাস্ত্রীয় সাহিত্যের সর্বোৎকৃষ্ট রচনা বলে মনে করা হয়।কুরআনকে প্রথমে অধ্যায়ে (আরবিতে সূরা) ভাগ করা হয় এবং অধ্যায়গুলো (সূরা) আয়াতে বিভক্ত করা হয়েছে। এই কিতাব আল্লাহর ফেরেশতা জিবরাইল এর মাধ্যমে ইসলামিক নবি মুহাম্মাদ এর কাছে মৌখিকভাবে ভাষণ আকারে কুরআনের আয়াতগুলো অবতীর্ণ করেন,দীর্ঘ তেইশ বছর ধরে সম্পূর্ণ কুরআন অবতীর্ণ হয়। কুরআনের প্রথম আয়াত অবতীর্ণ হয় ৬০৯ খ্রিষ্টাব্দের ২২ ডিসেম্বর যখন মুহাম্মাদের বয়স ৪০ বছর। এবং অবতরণ শেষ হয় মুহাম্মাদের তিরোধানের বছর অর্থাৎ ৬৩২ খ্রিষ্টাব্দে। মুসলমানরা বিশ্বাস করে থাকেন কুরআন হচ্ছে মুহাম্মদের সবচেয়ে গুরুত্বপূর্ণ অলৌকিক ঘটনা যা তার নবুয়তের প্রমাণস্বরূপ এবং ঐশ্বরিক বার্তা প্রেরণের ধারাবাহিক প্রক্রিয়ার চূড়ান্ত পর্যায় যা আদম থেকে শুরু হয়ে মুহাম্মাদের মধ্য দিয়ে শেষ হয়। তবে সুফিবাদের অনুসারীরা বিশ্বাস করে থাকেন মুহাম্মাদের সকল কর্মকান্ড উম্মতের কাছে বোধগম্য করে তোলার জন্যই কুরআন অবতীর্ণ করা হয়।
