Στις 24 Σεπτεμβρίου 1936, στα 50α γενέθλιά του, ο Δρ Edward Bach MRCS έδωσε τη δημόσια διάλεξή του στο Wallingford με τίτλο: Healing by Herbs. Αναφέρθηκε στους κύριους στόχους του για την πραγματοποίηση της εκδήλωσης με τα παρακάτω: "Πρώτον, για να σας περιγράψω μια νέα μέθοδο θεραπείας με βότανα. Δεύτερον, να μειώσουμε όσο το δυνατόν περισσότερο κάθε φόβο που μπορεί να έχει κάποιος από εσάς για την ασθένεια. " Στη συνέχεια είπε: "Τα σημαντικά σημεία θεραπείας με αυτά τα βότανα είναι: (1) Ότι τα "φάρμακα" είναι όλα φτιαγμένα από όμορφα φυτά και δέντρα της Φύσης, και ότι κανένα από αυτά δεν είναι βλαβερό και μπορεί να κάνει κακό. (2) ότι χωρίς γνώση της ιατρικής η χρήση τους μπορεί να γίνει κατανοητή τόσο εύκολα που μπορούν να χρησιμοποιηθούν στο νοικοκυριό." Ο Dr Bach μας άφησε μια αξιοσημείωτη κληρονομιά.
