Welcome to the Rediscovery Channel where three armchair historians set out on a quest to (re)discover history. Each week one of us tells the other a story from history that the other may or may not have heard off. Why? Because history doesn't repeat itself, but it often rhymes. And in order to understand where we're going, it is imperative to know where we came from. And since history is written by the victors, all the more reason to have a closer look at the forgotten, the curious, and the neglected stories. About the contributors: -Stilger is a polyglot who enjoys learning new languages and has always had an interest in history. At present, Stilgar is fluent in Dutch, English, German, but with more languages in progress. -Ivor Kovac was educated in history, and has a natural longstanding interest in history and mythology, with a focus on how culture affects history and vice versa. -Great Pharoah serves as a deacon in his church, which involves leading worship in both English and Coptic. He teaches classes, as well as worship, and knows a good deal of early church history.

Hi there! We're Sean and Allison, a horticulturist and a former Science teacher from the PNW in WA state zone 8b/9a. We LOVE to garden together & teach you about all things plants and flowers. We sold our home in 2022 and are searching for our new home and property so we're currently growing plants in containers, which is a lot of fun and can be challenging (which we enjoy). We're authors, inventors of two garden tools, The Little Dibby and The Dibby XL (both patent pending), professional speakers, and content creators. Sean, with his BS and MS in Environmental Horticulture, loves talking and teaching about all sorts of garden facets using his years of experience including landscape design, management, and maintenance. Allison loves teaching about gardening and brings a unique teaching perspective as a National Board Certified Science teacher and from years of tending to her own plants and flowers. Lisa & Dave This insanity all started a few years ago when Dave and I started researching a home in a warmer climate. Both fed up with snow and cold. DONE with shovelling snow! To quote a friend “the air here hurts my face. Why do I live where the air hurts my face?!?!?” Our search led from tropical islands to tropical coasts, and that’s when we realized we weren’t ready to be tied to one destination. We wanted to travel and see it all. Starting the travelling home research with motor yachts and trawlers, we soon graduated to sailboats and then we took a serious look at catamarans. All too soon, it was time to pull the trigger! We sold most everything, including our beautiful home, put what was left in our pickup truck and put that on an autohauler to get it across the restricted US border. We said good-bye to friends and family, chartered a helicopter to meet the truck and headed down the coast of the US. The search for our new home had begun! Our friends and family think we’re crazy. We don’t disagree. Join the crazy. Share this adventure of a lifetime with us.
