Devonte LaFleur

No stranger to struggle and loss, DeVonte LaFleur invokes a sense of lyrical melancholy, perseverance and resilience in his music, as characterized in his first single Don’t Give Up. When it comes to making music, LaFleur has done it all - from on-stage performance to sound engineering - but he always comes back to his first love: songwriting. Touring since high school, LaFleur draws on inspiration as varied as Adam Granduciel, Randy Newman, Chris Isaac, Billy Corgan, Bob Dylan and Warren Zevon, while adding his own signature grit and smoky vulnerability. LaFleur is an EMI alumnus, and has worked with such esteemed producers as Grammy winner Rick G. Nelson and Warren Entner. Born and raised in Lake Charles, LaFleur spent years honing his musical genius in LA, Nashville, Jackson and Hattiesburg, before returning to his Louisiana roots. He now lives in New Orleans, where he continues to slay demons without giving up. Shannon Marshall - Centrepiece Writing Studio

Bradley Laborman for Mayor of Chicago

My name is Bradley Laborman and I am running for Mayor of the City of Chicago. I know this may be unusual because most of the people currently running have wealth, or an agenda for an organization they are with, or simply haven’t done a good job as the current mayor. I figured maybe it’s time for a regular Chicagoan to represent other regular Chicagoans. My goal is to talk about the things people do not want to talk about, and I know people aren’t going to like that and things will get dirty, but you have to get dirty sometimes to really clean up a mess. I look forward to meeting you all in person!
