Tom's Big Spiders - Tarantula and Arachnid Care Verified

A companion channel for my Tom's Big Spiders blog, this channel is devoted to arachnoculture and the husbandry of tarantulas. (https://tomsbigspiders.wordpress.com/) After keeping a G. porteri for over 16 years, I decided that I wanted to add another T to my collections. Little did I know that this would begin a new obsession. With over 250 specimens and 100+ species, I'm now hopelessly addicted to the hobby. I'm NOT an expert, and I'm currently still learning about keeping these fascinating creatures. In fact, there are so many species, that I suspect I'll still be learning years from now. A teacher by trade, I enjoy passing along what I've learned and helping other in their successful pursuit of this hobby.

Welcome to my channel! If you didn’t grow up on one, getting a job on a ranch can be a steep learning curve. I make videos covering the skills that make a good ranch hand (and the occasional funny stuff from my life). I will cover skills in stockmanship, horsemanship, fencing, irrigation, mechanics, haying, carpentry, pluming, electrical, employment / employability, and others. If you’ve always wanted to work on a ranch, or maybe you’ve gotten your first job on one, but you're needing a little help, then follow my channel; where you can learn: How to be a Ranch Hand.
